arnica

I can only only give George one painkiller a day as they are strong.

His bum is bruised and sore and I was wondering if anyone had used Arnica for their dogs?

I know it reduces bruising in humans and I wondered if it would have the same effect on dogs?

I've never used it on a dog but I used it on my horse a few years ago when he injured a tendon in his leg. I gave it to him (drops on a sugar cube) immediately after the accident and the vet then gave me an ointment that had arnica in it. I can't say if it did any good, but it didn't hurt.
As always, ask a vet about use in your own dog.

Arnica Montana 30c

Homeopathic version... it says "homeopathic medicine"
on the pellet dispenser. The plant is poisonous.

We used the homeopathic pellets short term for Darby... 2-3 days was advised to aid in wound healing (mouth problem). 1-2 pellets mixed with a little bit of water... I had to crush the pellets with a spoon first.
