Rosco a clinger?

This is odd, Rosco at 11 has never been a clingy boy. Since Luke died Saturday he wants to be near me most of the time. He and Luke grew up together but were not real great buddies or anything. The only thing I can think of is he is the only one left from the Windfield gang, maybe he's a little freaked out? Or am I just nuts.....always a possibility

I think he's just mourning, and you're the common denominator with the rest of the original 4. Poor Rosco! Just needs some extra mommy snuggles right now. Give that special boy a big hug from me and Sammie! :ghug:
:(

Poor Roscoe.
Dogs mourn. This is common. Time for some grooming, snuggling and gentle walks. Some cling, I've had them separate themselves for a few days. At 11, he might begin to show his age faster now that he doesn't have to keep up appearances.
I am sure he is in mourning, Kelsey did that when Peppa passed and I really thought we would loose kelsey as she was a mess for months after loosing her auntie, they were very close, I still remember the next day Kelsey running around the yard whimpering and searching for peppa it broke my heart at her distress.

When Kelsey went even though Brie and her were not like two peas in a pod, I had that with brie she would whimper and get distressed when I was out of her sight, she spent 1 month sleeping with us after we lost Kel and took awhile to return to a normal happy self again.

Roscoe has always known luke all his life, even though they might of not been the closest of buddies but I am sure Roscoe is missing luke so much and also very confused as to where luke is. So sad but roscoe is normal in his behaviour and just spoil and pamper him a lot at this time.
 Poor boy.
Mourning. I've been thru it with one of my girls in the past.
Bear moped around and got under my feet for awhile after Lucy died. He laid in her spot for about two weeks. He and Lucy were pretty indifferent with each other so it surprised me, too.
Poor Rosco is mourning. We had father and son years ago. When the father passed away poor Sherman would not let us out of his sight. He became very possessive of Duffy's things and was super velcro. He did return to his normal little self within a few months.
:ghug:
Maybe he is feeling your sadness and wanting to comfort you??
Poor Guy, wish we could explain it all.
Guess that would be hard when it so hard to understand ourselves.
When Toby died(OES) our Scottie(Auggie) went into deep morning.I put Toby`s bed away cause I couldnt bare to look at it. Auggie would drag it out and not a small feat for the little guy We always gave them dog treats and when i went to pick up Toby`s bed again I found a lot of the treats under the bed. Auggie would sleep right next to Toby`s bed but never on it. He lost a few lbs cause he didnt eat like normal I was really worried we would lose him if he didnt snap out of it. He went through this for a couple of months then he just seemed to be back to normal one day.
Okay that made me sad  poor things.
   Pearl mourned after Millie died..I really needed to be close to her, and she really needed to be close to us. so sorry...
I had to let Abracadabra cross the bridge almost 4 weeks ago, and I also have a 12 yo Flat Coat retriever who was her best friend. Dulce lost her appetite for first few week, but that is coming back.

They always slept together, so, guess who spoons with me now?
