Introducing Roxy

Hello. I haven't been on the forum since February. At that time, we had just adopted a part OES puppy. He is still our mystery pup. Not sure how much OES he has in him. I'd say he is probably a Beardie mix, rather than OES mix but in any event we love him.

Anyhow, I am back on the forum because we just adopted a new sheepie. Her name is Roxy. She is 10 months old (?). I just remembered the questionnaire so I will reply to this post with the answers.

behavior problems: she and Bentley are working out who's alpha dog and they get a little crazy sometimes (it's only been 9 days together) medical problems: none that I know

most mischievious thing ever done: she jumped off our balcony onto the roof and then off the roof to get to my hubby first day we had her

bad habit: jumping to greet people and stealing Bentley's food
favorite food: anything and everything; this girl is a chow-hound.

anything else: loves to swim and chase iguanas in the back yard

She sounds like a cute bundle of energy and an escape artist too.
I am trying to imagine how she did all that jumping to escape. 8O Amazing!

Funny you should mention that. There was an article in the Wall Street Journal about two weeks ago reviewing four different DNA tests for doggies.

Yes, we do have iguanas in our yard. Trust me, there are a nuisance. Everyone thinks they are so cute when they are little and green but when they take over the yards like they have down here they are not so cute. They eat the plants!
