My replacement

So, my job is winding down. I'm very excited about the new job, but also very nervous...as it gets closer.

Tomorrow my replacement is starting, and I will be training him. It's very uncomfortable for me, but I know it's the right thing to do, to train him,that is.

Why am I so nervous about this?

Train him as you wish someone would train you. Don't take your anger/disappointment/frustration about your old boss/situation out on your replacement. It's not his fault.

You're nervous because you're leaving a known situation (even if it's bad, you're familiar with it) and moving to new, uncharted waters.
Best of luck! Train him well you never know what is in the future.
