Peek-a-boo

Toby, my wall-eyed 3 year old is a real Mr. Nosy. He has to know everybody's business and has no manners when it comes to finding out. Earlier this summer a new family moved in the house next door. They spend a lot of time in their back yard and have an infant son.

One of the fence boards next to their patio has a large knot-hole in it about two feet off the ground that I've never bothered to replace. When my new neighbors are in the back yard, Toby often stands next to it with his eye glued to the knot-hole, staring rudely. When he gets tired, he shifts position and sticks his other eye up to the knot-hole for another look. My neighbor told me it's so strange to see this blue eye-ball staring and then suddenly, its a brown eye-ball. He thought it was two dogs taking turns. But the infant thinks it is hilarious. When Toby switches eyes, the boy laughs uproariously as if the Toby is playing peek-a-boo with him. Maybe he is.

That is hilarious. Maybe he needs more excitement in his own life. Sounds like he'd benefit to you leaving on Days of our Lives or something during the day.

Now only if he could talk so he can share with you what he sees.
That is too funny.
It would be very weird to have a blue and brown eye swapping back and forward. 8O
Thats so cute.......
That is good - musical eyes
That's so cute! That must be so cute for your side of the fence too, a big furball with his nose pressed sideways up against the fence so his eye can be against the knothole. I can just picture him shifting positions to changes eyes  Does he by any chance close his other eye that isn't looking through the fence?
If you can take a photo of him in action and share it, I'd love to see it!
