New to the group
My name is Laura. I live in Burr Oak out in the country. We lost our OES a little over a year ago and have been heart broken ever sence. Toby was the love of our life and we miss him dearly. For so long I couldnt even look at a picture of a OES. But last week that changed when a sweet OES came and gave me all kinds of loven......must of known i needed that. I found a puppy in Wamego Kansas that I am pretty sure we are going to get the little furr ball. I cant wait!!!! I am so greatful to be able to be a part of this group to share and learn. Toby was such a clown I would love to share stories of him some day. |

I'm sorry for your loss of Toby. They leave such a big wound when they go that you think it will never heal. The wound does heal in time and it does leave a scar, but the warm memories soon outweigh the heartache and I think that's when you realize you have room in your heart for another. I'm looking forward to hearing about your new clown! |

Welcome! I am new here also, but this site is great! I'm sorry for your loss, I too lost an irreplaceable friend last fall to cancer at only seven years old  . All my life I have had golden retrievers, but Winston is my first OES. Good luck with your new puppy!! I hope everything goes great with Waldo! |
