My husband and I rescued Sprocket in February of 2008. When we brought him home we discovered he had pretty bad separation anxiety. He would tear the house apart when we left him and would defecate all over the house. he was potty trained, but just couldn't control himself because of his anxiety. We decided a crate would be the best option for him, and it really helped. he no longer had accidents and seemed to be much calmer. A couple of weeks ago we bought a new crate that he figured out how to escape from. For the past week I have been leaving him out of his crate when I go to work and he does great! No accidents, nothing chewed or broken. He seems so much happier now that he can roam around his house I'm so happy that he figured out how to escape from his crate, otherwise I'm not sure we would have found out how well behaved he has become. I just wanted to share the good news with you guys |

That's great news Go Sprocket! |
He'll probably appreciate having the crate handy for those relapses that creep up. Otherwise, he's figured out he has a great deal going. Good boy Sprocket. |
