I met a lovely sheepie rescue and her owners yesterday!

I met a lovely sheepie yesterday called chloe she was a rescue girl, she is adorable, So sweet. We had gone to our pet store to get the girls food and as I went in the door!!! (you know what its like if you see a sheepie you have to home in on it!! lol lol ) I had to go and say hello to her and her owners.. It was lovely to meet another sheepie we don't have many here... Maybe when we have our next uk sheepie day, Chloe would like to come and play with all the other sheepies... :)

I hope you told her all about the forum???
I did!!!!! :) Hope poppy is feeling better..
Hi to everyone, well Chloe owns us, we are her humans :-) (I firmly believe OES's Rule The Roost) Can I say how nice it was to stand and talk to other owners of OES gosh as you talked it was quite plain that you felt as we do about the breed.
Chloe is our 4th OES Penny was our first we had her from a pup, in fact I watched her being born and chose her as soon as she was delivered by mum. Penny had a good life but as is always the years paassed far to quickly and we lost her to old age, although her mind was willing right up to the very end.

We then had "The Boyz" Barney and Harvey they came from down south, brothers we believe? from a OES rescue co-ordinated by Gill Harwood up in Lincoln. We made sure their Autumn years were packed full of fun and games, they came everywhere with us. We were heartbroken as we lost them both to bad hearts within 12 months of one another.

We now have Chloe, shes from Gill Harwood, weve had her a little over 12 months I think now and she has settled down a treat. At first she was really quite depressed having had a litter of pups far too early in her life I think, she's perhaps only 3 now at most. But Chloe has filled a massive hole left by the Boyz, shes a stunner, albeit in a smaller package than the boyz, but shes full of it, a real clown and full of affection for us. SORRY TO GO ON, I DO TEND TO SOMETIMES lolol

I'm sure we will try hard to come along when you have a meet at Kingsbury, as long as we arent away camping in the van. What a smashing welcome Cheers
Welcome to the forum.
I look forward to hearing more stories about Chloe. It sounds like life has got a whole lot better for her. :clappurple: I'm sure she loves you for it.

Hello and WELCOME from Kent UK :D

Our boy is Rufus, he's 2. Looking forward to meeting you and your beautiful girl at the next Sheepie Day :yay:
You thou all so much for the wonderful welcome. I will post pictures of Chloe and our other past dogs once I figure out how.

Must say we are very relieved, Chloe picked up some sort of bug over the weekend and was in a dreadful state. How different she has been since a swift visit to the vet and some treatment, plus TLC she's more like her usual self again, I reckon after a week or two she will be fully fit and ready for anything. It's so nice to see her bright eyes again :-)
Welcome to the forum!!!! :yay:
Welcome! :D
Ahhh Welcome to you and to Chloe  Jill is a wonderful lady who goes far and beyond the call of duty for all the OES in her care. I was lucky to foster Mattie a couple of years back for Jill, a sweet boy who went on to his forever new home

Looking forward to some piccies of your fur babies, past and present.

Hi and welcome from (not so sunny) Scotland.

Good to hear from uk sheepie addicts, am so glad Chloe is feeling better now, they do worry us don't they.

I am another with a sheepie from Gill....my Woody is my third sheepie, he came to us just over 7 years ago via a lovely lady in essex who picked him up from his old home and allowed us to take him on...best thing ever is my number one boy.

He now has a younger brother ( aged 5 but actually 5 months in his head), adopted through Scottish breed rescue.

Most recently , to keep the young'un occupied we took on a third dog. Unfortunately hubby wouldn't let me have another sheepie   ...but he is a wee poppet and fits in so well and has his much bigger brothers wrapped round his little paw
