Happy Labor Day!!!

Well it may be early - and it may herald the end of summer (sorry did we have a summer in the Northeast this year?) - but like a lot of other people I have the next four days off and I am excited to be leaving work tonight !!!

Everyone have a safe holiday weekend.

Australia's labor day is at the end of summer too. So its always get a big long weekend in before the weather deteriorates.

Nothing too exciting here. I work over the weekend, but I have had the last several days off (the plus of working 12 hr shifts!). I only work Sat-Sun, I have Friday and Monday off.

I have been cleaning out my long neglected closet in this computer/dog/play room. Nightmare proprtions! :evil:

I just finished! Harley the foster basset has his crate in here next to Maggie. The sewing machine and material, etc went into the closet with the door removed. I think it will work well.

I took Chewie out for his 1st run carting this fall earlier today, as well as his 1st run with his new cart! We only went 1 mile, but pulling me on gravel was enough of a workout. :roll:

I also went into the humane society and walked dogs with my daughter Lisa. I got the nicely (surprise!) leash broke 2 yr old black lab, she got the 10 yr old beagle that dragged her the whole way! :twisted: Go figure!

ha ha ...thanks. I'm definitely going to be at the nicu most of the time, and then my parents are coming sunday to see their grandchildren.
I have to do 2 meetings Sat. morning. My son got home from California last night :banana: so after my meetings, I'll probably hang with him.

Sunday I"m run/walking a 5K and going out with friends afterward.

Monday, I will NOT labor! I'll have the whole family home and I will just be basking in joy of it!!!

I'm so happy that my husband and I have 3 days off together which is a first since April :lol:
Richard comes home early today and nothing is planned yet. I have been painting our small bathroom and will finish it this weekend. Just needed it so nice touchup.
Going to do some sewing to teast the machine. I have read the last few reviews on it and both people had bobbin jams and returned the machine. I will put it through its paces of a good workout. If it fails back it goes.

I was going to come down to see you all, but we are going to a herding trial in COnneticut (to watch) instead, AKC trials are few and far between out here.

Good luck tomorrow - I am sure we will pass paths again sooner or later :)
