Vote for Harry's friend Lulu Update

I posted about this months ago when it first happened.

Harry's friend Lulu, the English Bulldog, ate one of the baby's pacifiers. When they performed surgery because they couldn't determine what the mass was in her stomach they ended up pulling out 15 pacifiers. 8O

Here is the story link:

The insurance company that processed the claim votes on the most unusual case each month. Lulu won the month of December. Now she has a chance to win the first Hambone Award against the other monthly winners and an opportunity to appear on the Rachel Ray show.

Please cast your vote for her through the link below:

Voting ends September 14th.

Harry really appreciates everyone voting for his friend. Feel free to pass the link on to your friends and family too.

done!
I voted!

I told LeAnne about Lulu and the pacifiers - we had a good laugh at poor Lulu's expense. That really is amazing! 8O

Voted for Lulu and passed it on! :D
Lulu won!!!!!! :excited: :excited: :excited:

I just got an e-mail from the company because I checked a box saying I wanted to be notified of the winner:

You are among the first to know that the inaugural winner of the VPI Hambone Award is Lulu, the adorable English bulldog who gobbled up 15 baby pacifiers, a bottle cap, and part of a basketball — the contents filling half of a one-gallon plastic bag!

At the close of voting, Lulu was the clear winner with nearly three times more votes than the first runner up. As the winner, Lulu, received a bronze trophy in the shape of a ham, a gift basket and an appearance on the nationally-syndicated Rachael Ray Show. We will let you know the air date soon, so keep checking your email.

Thanks to all of you who voted for Harry's friend.

That's great!!! WTG Lulu.

These sorts of comps crack me up! We all get really excited and happy because a dog ate a whole bunch of bad stuff and needed surgery.

There's always a silver lining!!

The worst part is she was eating and pooping like normal - this had been happening for months - and she was not acting sick.

They only found out because they suspected she had eaten one pacifier and went to have her x-rayed.
