Gran-Gran gets Bam-Bam a stuffed friend

Didn't know my boy had it in him, but he just displayed a behavior we had never witnessed before. Recently my mother, GRAN-GRAN to BAM-BAM, came over for a visit. As usual she brought Bam-Bam a toy, this time she seemed extra excited about what she had to give him, she had found a large BEARDED COLLIE stuffed animal, which to her looked like Bam with a tail. He was appreciative as usual, but as his upright flock preceded to make a big to do over the new stuffed pup, I noticed his disposition towards it change. I had arranged its hair on top of its head to look the way Bam-Bam's hair is usually kept. This did not sit well with him at all, that was the last straw. He took the stuffed pup ran outside and pulled the hair tie out of its hair and then decided it didn't need that tail since he has never had one. Well, long story short, first toy Bam-Bam has ever tried to tear up in his life and he is going on five years old. The stuffed pup has been put out of sight and he once again is his old self.

That's a riot...no rivalries for Bam-Bam! It's amazing what these crazy sheepies will do!
Sounds like he was jealous of all the attention the toy was getting.... poor boy...lol....
Our pup, Farley, is funny about toys. Except for his plastic apple bottle that he runs around with on a daily basis - he only shows interest in toys that we are willing to play with. Meaning that there are stuffed toys all over the place that he will ignore until I pick up one and start throwing it around. Then he will want to play with the toy AND me. Otherwise - they're useless. Oh well ... so much for trying to get the house chores done! :D
Hi Bam-Bam's mom,

Welcome back by the way as I hadn't seen you around for some time!

Thanks for sharing this hilarious story with us - too funny!!

Marianne and the boys
haha i love it
This made me laugh outloud...I have been looking everywhere for a stuffed sheepdog. We have a build a bear store, they carry husky, border collie and pink poodles...the rest of course is bears. I'm going to suggest they create a OES...who wouldn't love that?
