Tiggy was a mad, bad girl - again!

Yesterday I had a late finish but a 3 hour break in the middle of the day, so I came home got changed and took the dogs to the off lead park. It has been really windy here lately and yesterday was no exception.

I will give Miss Mischief the benefit of the doubt and say it was the wind that made her crazy.

She ran around like a mad woman chasing Rastus, she knows that if she barks really loud in his ear he will run to get away from her. So while she's running flat out with her head turned for maximum bark volume in a poor badgered dalmo's ear she tripped on something. What to do? Stop running, NAH, dalmo will get away, she kept running with her back legs, till she got her front legs under her again. 8O She had big green grass stains all up the front of her white front legs and all up her chest and under her chin.

I made her stop and come back so I could check if she was OK, I thought for sure she would have sprained something if not torn a ligament or three. She was like "aww, Mom let me go! I've got evilness to get done". And she seems to be completely injury free, even today. No sore spots, no limp, nothing. :D

Then she really topped it off by giving up on Rastus, he was probably deaf by now and had stopped running away. Instead she found a nice, sloppy poop and rubbed her chest, neck and chin in it.

Now I have to race them home and bath the poop off and dry her off a bit in time to get clean myself and get back to work on time. :x But half way back across the park she saw a dog chasing a ball and was off like a rocket chasing him. Once she is chasing full on like that she goes completely deaf. And I had just been telling our obedience instructor that she has been good and listening and recalling lately. Famous last words, I jinxed myself.

It is NOT fun to chase after and try and catch a sheepie in full coat all covered in poop around the neck, while dragging a dalmo along after you. In the end I got a handfull of butt coat to use as a brake.

I gave up after 2 buckets of warm soapy water and just got the hose out. She wasnt happy to have a cold hosing out in the wind but I wasnt very sympathetic at that stage. As a result no pix of her with beautiful green coat decorations as they mostly washed off. Then a quick wash for me and back to work.

Then when I did get home late the house looked a mess!! Buckets, hair dryer, towels, brushes, wet clothes all just flung where ever as I raced out the door.

A mid day walk in the sun seemed like such a nice relaxing thing to do. I forgot, you never know what to expect with a sheepie.

It could of been worse, she could of stopped and ate the poop. 8O Glad it was you and not me with the Eau De La Poop squished on her coat. :P
