OES characteristics

Hi, I need some help! We bought our 2nd OES 3 weeks ago. I feel like I was blind..but I just realized today, that he has whiskers. Our other OES, doesn't have them..never did. My sheepdog 20 yrs ago didn't have them. I am thinking we got taken!! Is this possible and still have pure lines? Thanks, Carol

All dogs should have whiskers as far as I know...
You made me go check........yes, they have whiskers. Some dogs have more pronounced whiskers than others. Usually they are not as coarse as perhaps what you found and blend in with the other hairs. If they offend you, trim them back. Also watch eyebrows since your pupper has these coarser hairs. Eyebrows can get long and curve inward, rubbing against the eye ball. Not good. Trim as necessary.
