Help Please!

My one year old puppy has a pulled groin muscle. She is on anti inflamatories and some mild pain killers. Diagnosis is good but recovery can be long. Four to Six weeks. Vet strongly suggests she "rests" as much as possible. Allowed walks on the leash. We ahve her brother who is 2 years old. They love to run and play. Whxcih is how she pulled the muscle in the first place.

Any suggestions on how to keep her 'resting"? Any good ideas for mind games to tire her out? It will be a long four weeks!

we had an eskie that pullled a groin muscle years ago - she was only a few months old at the time. I never thought it was hard ot keep her quiet because she didn't seem to want to do much running around. You can probably swim her if she is interested. also lots of walking and some obedience exercises :?:
How about a Tug-a-Jug? We got one for Aggie to keep her busy while in her X-pen. She was so much smaller then Edgar that we had to keep them separated a lot due to the rough playing on Edgar's part. http://www.amazon.com/Premier-Busy-Budd ... 291&sr=8-1
Of course you do want to keep her comfy but, talk to your vet
about which meds are needed??
Anti Inflammatory probably yes but, you don't want her to feel
too good to be too active.
Good Luck!
