Sheepie in a commercial

I just saw a commercial for 'Cesar's Bistro' dog food--too cute! The sheepdog gets quite a bit of camera time as it tries to fit through a little doggie door--then tries to sit in a purse.
Beautiful dog--cute commercial.

#1: That OES should've had no problem getting through that door. Clyde is way fatter and his door is the same size!

#2: You can tell my husband has been to a lot of dog shows and he's been paying attention. He looked at it and said "That's a terrible Old English Sheepdog. It's all legs and that coat is way too soft looking. Why would they pick him?!"

I love that the commercial brought that out of my husband. It's very cute that he pays attention. :)

Awww that's really a cute commercial. Pretty dogs, even if leggy and soft.
being leggy with that silky soft coat; makes me wonder if we are looking at a pup that has yet to fill out and go through a coat change.
I saw that commercial!
Funny b/c we saw it for the first time a few weeks ago and I wanted to post about it too. While we've seen OES' before in commercials, this one seemed very pretty. Love it!
awwww! I thought it was a cute commercial and it was nice to see a sheepie in a commercial for something besides vacuums and dirt!

The dog was a nice representation of the breed fluffy and ( yes a little silky) but I am not sure that with about 10 seconds of camera time that the general population would be intent on discerning show quality. :P

It's true, and that's why they can get away with using a dog like that. :)

The Dane looked bummed to have to be involved in the commercial at all, lol. Then again, anything with droopy eyes looks lazy. ;)
We saw that commercial for the first time the other day as well. My husband actually pointed it out.... I tend not to really watch the tv, I am usually sitting there doing something else. :D

A man with an educated eye.... yum! Lucky you. My guy has been to one show and still loves every dog he sees.

This one looks young. Adolescent coat and the legginess could be just an awkward point in a growth spurt. Who knows how the AD wanted the dog to look. Enough Silken Spirits and a brillo pad would look like that too. But yeah, looks like the undercoat was stripped. However, that is one nicely trained dog, so it gets kudos from our house.

I am curious who he lives with.

And of course, always great to see an OES in the media.

PS Okay I just looked at it again (thanks for the Utube link!). That is one leggy shaggy. But still tough work to get your young dog to hit the spot and do that on command over and over and over again.
Cute!!
I thought they might have picked a sheepie with long legs on purpose to make it look even less like it could fit in the hand bag. :D
Finally saw it! HOW CUTE WAS THAT???????? A sheepie pocket pooch!
