I HATE vacuuming!!!

I loath it, abhor it, despise it, detest it... I don't suppose anyone out there wants to come do it for me? I keep finding ways to put it off. I do have the downstairs finally done but now and I just need to lug the vacuum upstairs.

On the bright side, the reason why I am vacuuming is so that when the contractor comes tonight to look at our roof, my floor will be clean.

vacuuming is one of those chores I don't mind - it is soothing in a way and one of the few things where you see really instantaneous results. BUT I do have vacuums on each floor - I HATE lugging the vacuum up and down the stairs.
Do you like to dust??

I'll trade!
I LOVE vacuuming and I would happily do it everyday :D :D
I don't mind vacuuming......I do it at least once a day, especially with little Miss getting to where she likes to play on the floor. The funny thing is I don't have carpet! I prefer to vacuum my floors (linoleum tile, army stuff, lol) that way I don't have to chase the dust bunnies and fur balls around! I HATE dusting, therefore I don't own many bric-a-brak. If I dust once a month, its a good thing....
Well, I have finished. YEAH! While I like how nice it looks after you vacuum it's a rather frustrating chore for me at the moment. Our house is most the way gutted. So that means vacuuming around boxes, piles of boards, and everything else that doesn't have a place(which is everything). So I vacuum and the house still looks like crap. You don't get that nice 'WOW that's sparkly clean" feeling.

That is one reason why I am so excited about having the roof redone. We are going to add a dormer so that the stairway can be extended. The stairway is holding up the kitchen redo, laundry redo, upstairs redo....well you get my drift.

My most favorite chore is.....cleaning the bathroom! I find that very satisfying.

I was wondering why you didn't have two as well. Wouldn't matter here, none get used until I step on something that hurts and then I'll vacuum. Fortunately dog hair doesn't hurt..........and even when done, 34 year old carpeting doesn't look much better after vacuuming. Nothing new until dog number down.
