Baseboard molding question (painting)

I am on Richards laptop. Mine will not see cable anymore!!!!

Anyway I have started doing my living room over. New paint. Well I was thinking !!!! what should I paint the bottom molding. The same as the walls
which is now going to be taupe or do I paint it white as the trim around the wndows ?
The ceiling height is 8ft. so if I do the taupe it will appear tall. But I also like white baseboards. Either will do. What do you all think????

White baseboards.
White absolutely.
I find that having a different color on the accent parts really looks striking. With the white on the window frame and the edging, I think you'd have a more manicured outcome. If you have taupe all the way down, it will hide the baseboards.
Definitely white. I like the contrast of colored walls and white baseboards.
Definitely white.... but Willy says whichever is tastier
What are the colors of the furnishings? Also--are your doors dark or light? With a taupe- I always like a soft creamy beige.
I guess it will be white then.

THANKS
Glad you chose white--
