Rear help?

I couldn't think of a swanky, clever subject, so I figured I'd just get right to it. I'm having problems with the sheepies rears staying clean. It seems that the second poop of the day always seems to be a bit soft. The first one is always just fine, but after a good romp and playing, it seems to have 'greased the inner cogs' so to speak. They come inside and at least one will have this trail of soft stool on their rear.

They get a high quality dog food and they don't act anything but happy. And as I said, the first movement is just fine, it's after excersize that is the problem. Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm trying to find a good solution to keep hygiene more in order. So far I have been butt scrubbing after funfilled romps.

I don't have to worry about show coat, so just shave a path, from poop hole downward........how far depends on dog sex.
Yup, Archie is the same - second poop on the walk after some mad play and it turns softer much softer.

Shave or trim a poop shoot, I thought it maybe an issue with his big hairy tail it was never his tail that got messy though.
Heart and Pearl belong to the secret order of Dingleberries!!!!!

I always keep baby powder or cornstarch within reach and if I see anything, I aim the baby powder and give them a quick puff, let it set for a couple of minutes and brush out. It works everytime!!!!!!! :D

Excellent advice! I also keep a bit of leave-in shampoo handy; spritz, rub, dry and good! Bingley always had softer stools after the first of the day until we put him on a raw food diet. He rarely has the issue now.
