Eye Infection

The other day we rang our vet (who's fabulous with Baxter) as it appeared as though Bax had hurt his eye slightly... As it turned out, something has bitten him on his eye and the vet did say that we were extremely fortunate that we noticed him playing with his eye when we did... When we rang to make the appointment they just told us to bring him straight down and we were so lucky that we did exactly that... So from now on, if we even think there's something not quite right, it's down to the vet we go - in the first instance ! Fortunately, his eye is starting to settle down now, but I can't imagine what would have happened if we had waited for the symptons to really flare up ! 8O

Yeeouch!!! Poor boy, a bite on the eye is not good, hope he's lots better. :crossed:
Ouch! Safety doggles for the Bax!
We had a similar problem with Asia a few months ago. I woke up in the morning and the first thing I saw was Asia's eye swollen. Call to the Vet and in we went...shot in the eye and some anti biotics later she healed up quickly.....had a similar experience a few weeksj later with Violet's ear flap swollen, but that was another story and another trip to the Vet.

Hope your sheepie feels better soon.
