Broad Spectrum Frontline and Older Dogs

| This is not the first time I have heard of a reaction to Frontline. Infact there was a post about a week ago about the smething. You are not alone.
I choose not to use these things, I have the yard sprayed and we have nothing to worry about. I think it was Stacey that knew something about this. I just feel the more things you give them the more problems you can have. i know many will differ with me on this. I also feel this is the same for humans.  |
| We never had a problem with Frontline but may have with Advantage.
It's so hard to prove exactly what caused my dog's 1,231 ALT level... it looks likely that it caused it but not with a certainty. Some dogs may just be more sensitive to pesticides. Please ask your vet to report this possible adverse reaction to the manufacturer. |
| I've used Frontline on older dogs & not had any problems to date. I've been using it since it came out onto the market years ago. |
| Thank you for your input. We are not certain Frontline is the cause, but would rather error on the safe side and not give it to her. So far....so good.. We are giving her Comfortis as a substitute. Does anyone use this product?
