Absolutely no saving grace for this other than the lime and it's good and easy. Originally for the Neely's on Food Channel, but I gave it some oomph.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup lime juice (fresh is always the best, but oh my, that's at least 8 limes! undiluted frozen limeade will work in a pinch)
1 heaping Tablespoon lime zest....see, you need those fresh limes!

Directions
Mix ingredients together and refrigerate until cold....I put it into the freezer until ice crystals form around the sides. Pour into ice cream maker and mix for 12 to 15 minutes. Transfer to another container and place plastic wrap directly on ice cream and cover container tightly with a lid. Place in freezer for several hours.

When ready to serve, garnish with Teddy Grahams if desired.

If you want to try a more margarita type....make about 2 Tbs. of the lime juice orange juice...maybe even concentrate. Add some orange zest...maybe 1/4 teaspoon. Tequila tends to keep the ice cream from getting solid....it acts like antifreeze. If you boil it first to remove the alchol, that might work. Amount? Not much.[img][/img]
Ohhhh, I love anything with condensed milk and/OR heavy cream ...hands down, you already have an idea of what you're going to have by that.

Sounds perfect for a brunch or ladies coffee.
Your recipe sounds yummy!

No but it has possibilities Wink Maybe with a little key lime soda for fizz......

Except for the amazing tart/tangy taste contrasting the elegant smooth texture. DH gave it two spoons up!
