She crys when I leave

When I leave the house and don't bring Asia with me, she crys. She is not left alone. Violet/China and my daughter are usually there together with her. My daughter had mentioned to me that Asia crys for a while after I leave and my granddaughter brought it to my attention today, again. I can be gone only a few minutes and it breaks her heart.

It makes me sad to know how sad she is when I am gone :( .

My maltese always did this ...up to 3 days if I was leaving for a long time, but if Mr. J or I left the car to just pump the gas (we're not only in sight, but the other person is still IN the car), she would go hysterical. Cry, pace like crazy, and wimper until we're back. There was nothing we could do to curve it. Locking her up in a cage ironically was 10x worse b/c she'd hurt herself trying to get out ......but we knew she wouldn't do anything more than cry and look out the window outside of the crate. Sorry I don't have a solution/suggestion ...just saying I understand. Bones never worked or anything and if it was a routine outing (school, grocery store) ...she would calm down after 10 min and just sleep.
