| I think puppies should get water as needed during the day, but if you have a monster like my pup ....who DOES NOT have a limit to how much he'll drink then I'd take it up. I am home all day, so I tend to give them a little water (like less than an inch throughout the day and after meals. Also allows me to wipe their beards each time as I don't like wet beards touching me.
I also took their water up a few hours before bedtime for quite a long time. Now they're at the point it doesn't matter if they have water before bed. |
