Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson

Would you rather have dinner and/or spend a little time with Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett or Michael Jackson?

Why?

OK

I added Benjamin Franklin and "none of the above".
Anyone have any other additions?

I have to say I thought of all of the ones in the title I would say Ed McMahon (probably my age), but think of how many of the older great celebrities he knew! Of course than I opened the poll and you have Benjamin Franklin - my dog who could compare to him - he was freaking genuius!!!! (and a tad odd  )
I think a dinner conversation with Michael Jackson would be fabulously crazy and give you something to laugh about for years. That makes him the easy choice for me!
Well, they're all dead so it be kinda hard to talk to them. But I say Benjamin Franklin because the others hold no interest for me.
I was thinking about putting MJ, for the freak factor and maybe to 'get' why he did some things...

But that didn't appeal to me (don't know if I could eat with him sitting next to me)...

FF, didn't really know who she was aside from a pretty face, so that held no interest to me.

Ed Mc...maybe since he knew a lot of the Rat Pack type old celebs which might be interesting, but maybe not since they're long dead.

Ben F--eh.

I don't know who I'd like to have dinner with, though.
Not on the list, but, my choice would be Abraham Lincoln.

MJ-- too freaky for me now. When I was younger I loved him.
FF- I just keep thinking of the David Letterman interview
EM-- He isn't interesting to me, but the people he knew MAY BE.
BF- Possibly-- just because I love historical figures.

But, all said and done -- not on the list-- Good 'ole Abe.

SUPER easy choice for me too. Plus, he may buy my kids a bunch of expensive gifts, so that's always a plus. I love the guy despite his messed up head.

Don't think it's fair you through someone as random as BF in there but I'd love to eat with him too. Imagine talking to someone from the past. My dinner conversation would sell for millions ;)
For me, if we're just talking celebrity star struck dinner, I'd have to say Hugh Laurie, but in character as House , or Kate Mulgrew because I think the conversation would be intelligent, and I've always admired her.
Or Bon Jovi, but breakfast too

ROTFLMAO

His face did end up very creepy - Joan Rivers is not far behind. It is past the "can't look away" stage to the "can't look at it" stage.
i put farrah because her battle with cancer was hard fought...i liked her ''suck it up'' attitude....
I voted NOTA, because I honestly have no idea what Id say to any of these people!  ....wait, now...did any of them ever own a sheepdog??
I put Farrah as when I was a kid I used to watch Charlies Angels and I always wanted to be her!

Not that I know what I would have said to her.
I would have liked to have dinner with Gandhi... John Lennon would be on my list too.

Dinner with someone famed for fasting probably would not be a fabulous meal.
I often have conversations with an imaginary Ben Franklin -- How would I explain the light bulb, or sheetrock, or plastic, or the microwave oven, or TV.

I think of how, standing in my kitchen I would appear to him to be the wealthiest man in the world with my electric lights, cupboards filled with fine, thin, lightweight china (corelle ware  ), running water, tiled floor and countertop and my appliances (oven/range, dishwasher, refrigerator and aforementioned microwave oven).

I imagine how I would talk about electricity and how man has harnessed it and about radio waves.

I really enjoy these thoughts, and I am sad that the conversation can never happen.

What would I talk about with Farrah? I don't know her at all. We could chat about her hair or her teeth, or my hair/lack thereof, maybe talk about her boyfriend or her ex-husband. Or her cancer.

What would I talk about with Ed McMahon? Johnny? His experience in the industry?

Michael Jackson? I LOVED MJ! He was SUCH a talent but I'm sorry, he lost me when he went whacko. Not his fault, but such a waste and such a pity.

The celebrity chats would be one-way; they'd be telling me stuff that I may or may not already know from their public persona, they may or may not reveal any of their private personality and they would likely not be interested in me or anything I had to say.

But given a chance to "educate" Ben Franklin and see his reactions and hear/answer his questions and perhaps wonderment at a chance for him to see the future? What a gift!
Benjamin Franklin as I think he would be so interesting to have a dinner conversation with, him and John Lennon would be first choices.
After seeing Farrah's Story I voted to have dinner with her. I have to admire how Farrah handled her life living with cancer. I only hope her son will show some of his mother's strength and finally beat his addictions. Michael Jackson had amazing talent but I just couldn't get past his "involvement" with children.
