I found my forever home!

Yep, it's true, I've wormed my way into my foster Mom and Dad's hearts, so I'm no longer a foster! Doesn't my big brother Oliver look thrilled?

in a short 4 months. She has overcome many fears, gained a much needed 10-15 pounds, and has a clean bill of health. Due to her malnurishment I doubt she'll ever get over 60 pounds, which is sad, you should see this girls feet! I do love her tail, just seeing it wag in sheer joy and excitement brings tears to my eyes knowing what she lived through.
:ghug: awww that is GREAT !!
Cute post!

Congratulations -

I am not surprised that you ended up keeping her.

How does Oliver like having her around?
Love you secret :D

You have been remarkably silent lately about your *foster*, nice to know she will be staying with your family :D :D
Yeah, we never saw that coming! Congrats!
Congratulation to you both, she looks so sweet

Oliver loves having her around! We make sure each get "alone" time with Mom and Dad, so that helps a ton (Oliver is HUGE mommy's boy). We didn't change Oliver's routine, we just fit Lucy into it, so it works well. They run around the yard like crazy kids, it is really cute! I think the exercise that he gets with Lucy is really helping with is HD too. We do morning and nightly walks, but being a runner, I know it takes different muscles to run and jump than it does to walk. He is pivoting faster, jumping higher, and has greater endurance.

We really wanted to make it to Sheepiepalooza, but Lucy 1. gets car sick, like really bad 2. wasn't ready for it. Hopefully next year!

Ask your vet about giving her Benadryl for the next car trip. It worked wonders when my Winston was a youngster.
Looking at that face how could you do anything but fail fostering. Congrats.
I love hearing great news!
Lucky Lucy :yay:

Congrats!!!!!That is one lucky sheepie girl.
Congrats to everyone, two- and four-legged!! Lucy sure is a cutie pie, and that tail reminds me of our first sheepie, who also had a tail. NOTHING was safe when Buford was happy!!

This is why I could never foster. I'd end up keeping them all!! :hearts:
That's cute. I love a close-up of a sheepdog nose... especially those little stray hairs that always seem to hang down on the top.
so happy for you that you failed foster but it is so much better for her to stay with you she looks like a love good luck
Adorable! So glad you failed and Lucy passed. Life is good.

I look at this post several times a day, just for the cute first pic and extremely clever caption. I find that I put my face near the monitor so I can hear the secret!
