There is one comment in the story about Henley "wagging his butt" because he has no tail...so I think he is a sheepie ![]() |

He's a rescue. OES, not Bearded, rescue. He even has his own book: his owner is an author who wrote a book about him which she uses to promote + fundraise for rescue, predominantly NEOESR as I recall. Kristine |

![]() ![]() ![]() You are correct. But he was placed as an OES, ergo he IS an OES ![]() It can be part pet grooming. Take out undercoat and leave rest long makes for a more beardie looking dog. Plus his lovely facial markings lend itself to beardie, even though OES can have dark on their heads to (hi, Sybil! ![]() Kristine |
If you click on all the pictures in the link, the last one is of him on the cover of the book. He definitely looks OES in that one. |

Has anyone read the book? Sounds like the author is doing a lot of advertising for the rescue folks! Nice article too, I can't believe that was a cake!!! |
Very cute book!
It was sent to me by one of my foster dogs who moved to the same town Henley lives in!! |
I loved the book too. I have it at home myself. |
Great book, I gave it to my 7yo granddaughter last year. |
