Lilly got the runs Fri. night. bad.... on my livingroom rug.
so on saturday i had to shampoo it. OK no big deal.
all day sat. she had the runs too. No food was given.
she is drinking water ok.
yesterday we gave her small amounts of rice and boiled hamburger.
she ate very little.
then another large bout of the runs that looked like slim and dark brown and some red I think. dripping from her poor butt.
into the tub for a wash down and I cut the fur around her area.
what I need to know is can I give her human ant-diarrhea pills
I thought of 1/2 pill to start. Will it hurt her?
I can get her some Excel from the pet store tonight. But I thought to stop it for now I would use one of these pills.

| Pepto is safer than Kaopectate since you probably don't know if she has sensitivity to ivermectin. It might be worth it to take a sample to the vet to see if she needs an antibiotic. We just went through something similar with Clyde and he had a bacterial infection. |
