pardon my pun! I finally broke down to buy some good clippers for the dogs (OES, GSD & pug). I had some lower-end clippers but they didn't seem to get the job done! Thankfully it appears that my stbx took those instead of his hair clippers. I went to one of our local farm stores and bought an Andis AGC2 Super 2-speed plus and additional blade - total was $200+. *sigh* Through an old sheepie post I found PetEdge - wow! They had the same clipper plus an extra blade totaling 152!!! If I hadn't already opened everything up they'd be going back in a heartbeat! My one GSD isn't shedding out like usual and seems miserable. I never knew that coat quality on GSDs could change but his is now impossible - doesn't blow out and is super-fro-like (can't even use a furminator on the poor guy). If he didn't want to chew on our new cats, he'd be in the house 24/7. Instead, I'm about to shear him! At least his coat will only take a few months to come back in (unlike Sidney). |

What a bummer! I hate it when I find stuff cheaper when its too late.
Still the up side is they're great clippers and the furkids will be much happier clipped. |
is there a clipper repair?
i have a oster gold 2 speed. new head but will not cut. what do I do? |

most places that sharpen clippper blades also service and repair clippers! |
OES Mommy,
Does the cutter on the blade move back and forth when you use the clipper?
Are you remembering to turn the clipper on first, before putting the blade on the clipper?
