| I feel for you. We have had 8 days now of this weather. I woke up , or rather was WAKEN up at 230 am with a 90 lb Checkers in the middle of my stomach this morning when the lightening and thunder CRACKS hit. It went on for 45 minutes without ANY let up.
4 days ago (i think it was) we had a hail storm hit, and had golf ball sized hail. That went on for 20 minutes. I felt so sorry for the dog next door. He is old........ and they don't look after him like we do our bobtails here. They never let this poor dog in and very rarely do i see them spending any attention with him. That day, I was screaming above the winds and hail for the boys to get him inside as he was being pelted by the golfball size hail. They were more worried about getting their car into the garage. Some people should never be allowed to have animals. have to get State Farm out to do a roof inspection now.......... and more storms are in the forcats every day for next 7 days........ |

| We had hail also on Monday...weird |
| We had a hail storm a few weeks back, followed by a huge rain storm - lasted about 30 minutes!! Right now we're in a rain zone - been raining daily for almost 3 weeks. The sun will peak out and be very humid, then in the blink of an eye the sky gets dark and opens up again. We're having to cut the grass in between storms, every 3-4 days. Geesh! Enough already!! |
Thankfully no damage from the hail. I was out taking the pictures while it was still lightning, I am sure the neighbors were thinking, look at the crazy girl from Vermont! We must have had some high winds overnight, there are leaves and branches everywhere! I guess it wasn't a good idea to mulch the flower beds this past weekend, now to pick up all the leaves once it is less cold and soggy out 
Glad to hear everyone is experiencing this strange weather in early summer, misery loves company. Ali, I am sorry you have those kind of neighbors, I would have been over there unhooking the dog myself! Some people just don't get it. |
