MN Twin Cities Specialty Weekend
Wow, we just finished up a great weekend in MN! It was great seeing Chewie and Dawn and everyone else. As always, the TCOESC put on a GREAT show. So here are the results: Sweepstakes...not sure I was grooming like a crazy! I will check. BOB- CH. Masquerade Megabuck RN- Luca BOS/WB- Masquerade Mix N' Match- Ruby BOW- Barkshire's Jim Dandy Ruby left the house with 0 points and came home with 13pts and went BOS and BOW the rest of the weekend to Luca! We don’t see many 5 pt majors around here and she picked up 2 and a 3pt major on Sunday so this was REALLY exciting for me and completely unexpected! She only needs 2 more points to finish. I can hardly believe it. I'm actually a bit sad because she is fun to show  ...so maybe it will take us some time to get those remaining 2 pts.
There was a really nice entry as always with a NUMBER of truly lovely dogs. Thankfully all of the exhibitors were extremely supportive even though they probably wanted to ban us from the show grounds...  Actually one of them actually mentioned that as we entered on Sunday morning. I think he was kidding...maybe...  |

| Luca and Ruby did so well all weekend
Even though we were winless in conformation, Chewie and I had a good time. Another RAE leg (#7, we only entered rally on friday for the specialty - too crazy otherwise!) kept us from being totally skunked for the weekend. 
Visiting with Sunny, Marnie and Gale, having Stephanie come on Sunday (and shopping!) and having the owners of Chewie's brother Will come (and Will came with) both Sat and Sun was all so fun. Also seeing other friends that we don't see at some shows - another perk |
