This morning, a bear and her two cubs were in the ravine. Several of my neighbours called me to see them.
Each cub had been sent up a tree, hanging on for dear life. They looked to be a few weeks old at the most.
Their mother was on the ground pacing and looking very worried. She was quite young, very pretty with dark alert ears and a light brown coat.
We could see them very clearly as they were only a few yards away down the hill. I hope no one gets silly about them as they can move away from our houses through the ravine up into the woods at the edge of town. |
