Dudley Duke of Earl

I just found Dud's reg paper, he was born 28 Aug 1986 and it shows Paramount True Blue as his sire and ShaggyHollow's Misty Princess as the dam and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this line

Not directly, but I thought ShaggyHollow rang a bell and, sure enough, Toni Lett (later) of Raffles OES started out with a Shaggyhollow bitch named Woody - Can CH Shaggyhollow's Lady Woodstock UD CAN OTCH.

Woody went back to a Barvan dog.

Though I don't have ShaggyHollow Misty Princess' sire and dam in my database, I know she also produced CH Tara's Blue Mist on 11/23/82 when bred to (if my information is correct) Paramount Vidas Blue Mist. That would make CH Tara's Blue Mist an older half sister of your Duds.

I don't have any information indicating if Tara Blue Mist was ever bred, nor do I have any information at all on Dud's sire, but interesting question.

Why don't you submit his registration info at www.furcertain.com and perhaps in time more of the blanks will be filled in?

Kristine
thanks Kristine, I just entered both Dutch and Dud's names and their mom and dad's names from their reg. papers hope I did it correct and it looks like they both have Barvan in their b/g .

I was given Dutch's pedigree for both her dam and sire showing back to the gr gr grands, is it correct to submit these when they came from the breeder or would that be copyright infringement

No, that's fine. It's sort of a public record kind of document. There's nothing to stop you from faxing or scanning and e-mailing a copy of your birth certificate, for instance, to whomever you wish. Though most of us don't do that on a regular basis.

If you do happen to have it scanned there's way to upload it as an attachment, which is, frankly, the easiest way to do so.

Note, and it says so on the website, that pedigree information (but not pictures - you can also submit pictures of them to the furcertain site) will be shared with the OESCA health and research database, so you're helping the breed while you're at it.

Thank you!

Kristine
Ok will scan and send, thanks
