How about money for goodies and the silent auction?
Kerry most people don't forget money...... so I guess they can buy a chair, hat, raincoat or crate.

If you are bringing something in for the auction you can bring it to Val on Friday night.

well considering how unlike my sisters I am - maybe that's the answer. :D :D :D
Well you two obviously share the obtuse gene - use your debit card to get cash.

I use the term "money" to include your debit card which can be used in the aforementioned way.

Like to bribe your mechanic to get your van fixed. :sidestep:

You can do that??? 8O WOW!!! :excited:

Well, there is that. Though game plan one was to threaten to have Dawn drive down here and have a nice chat with him. Apparently she has mystical powers when it comes to getting mechanics and my dogs to behave... :?:

Failing that, I'm busy making a Voodoo doll, wrench in hand...

Actually, he's a really nice guy. Just, you know, no real sense of urgency.

I will pretend to be amused by your sarcasm since you are our agility chair with courses in your posession.
One very important item was missing from the Don't Forget List....cameras!
Those of us who can't attend will want to be there vicariously. Please don't forget us :plead:

I'm planning on bringing my video camera to tape some fo the performance events if it still works after Sybil apparently though it was a snack the other night. I found in on my bed (aka her "lair")

Of course, given that I've never figured out how to upload video to my computer, let alone the net, I don't know how much good that will do anyone

Oh I am bringing mine too - but as you know have never gotten videos uploaded either  maybe Sybil and Marley can figure it out.

And debit cards for cash - only at Target or somewhere else where they don't charge a fee. I refuse to pay ATM fees.

Bingo!

Recently some store tried to charge me $1 for a request for cash back on a purchase and I said thanks but no thanks.

It's OK, Judi. You don't have to feign amusement. I would never hold performance hostage. Other events, maybe.   But never anything performance related.

Besides, a monkey with a crayon could have designed these courses. (Oops! Did I say that out loud!   )

Sad to say, but I think they'd both have a better shot at it.

If we are bringing something for the auction, do you think it would be okay to post a picture of it here on the board?

I used to tell my kids that if you ask me in front of everybody than the answer will always be no.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

I wasn't even thinking; but you are SO right! Sorry; that was a very "little kid" thing of me to do!
But Allison, it is also always easier to apologize than to ask permission - keep that in mind next time
So, my vote is to POST IT!!!!

Maybe we can get outside bids, like at the real auctions where they are taking bids over the phone!
well "Mom" didn't say not to, and since I was so indiscreet as to post about it instead of PM'ing, I might as well show it off. I think if anyone else is donating stuff, we should totally post images and see if we can't get some outside interest going! Perhaps some folks could ask friends to bid for them on things they might be interested in!

Matted, the artwork measures 12 by 16 inches. I tried to make it a standard size, so framing wouldn't be as expensive. Drawn and colored by me, in markers.
Wow, very cool!!!!

I so can't wait to see it in person! :D
Hey All-
I am looking forward to meeting all of you--I just read that we could bring something for the auction (I guess I missed that part) and will be glad to CONTRIBUTE. Are there any specifics I need to know--do you want all dog related items or items for humans a good thing too??

I will be bringing a flip video camera and my computer and can upload on the spot. If you have a computer you can upload to YOUR computer from this camera "on the spot" and take it home with you.
I will be glad to share--it is EASY!

Travel safe!
Karen
Oh Alison! That is beautiful! I can't wait to see it in person, too.

I'm so excited to get there! :excited: We're leaving around noon today. I've had everything sitting by the door ready to go since 6:30 a.m. :excited:

Noon! Wow; we don't leave until tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn. I guess we'll see everyone there!

How wonderful, would love to see it in real life
Jean thank you; your own work is always so beautiful to see!!!

I decided to break the trip up into two days this year so I wouldn't be so tired and grumpy when I get there. We're in Nashville tonight getting ready to have dinner with Sheepiezone. :D
Tammy dod your LaQuinta give you any grief about the dogs - when I checked in (and I brought Marley into the lobby after 12 hours in the car I thought she deserved to stretch her legs) He said they had a 50 mpound dog policy - not that I saw anywhere. he seemed tgo be a bit of a jerk. Needless to say we are still here (good thing Big Ol Morgan stayed home)
the Westin has a 50 pound dog limit; no one asked me how much the girls weighed when we went. But I was ready to tell them that "it all hair!"
No, Kerry, they didn't give me any flack at all. I did read and sign their pet policy when I checked in and it said (in fine print) that each hotel reserves the right to limit the number or size of the pets allowed. But, when I called this one to make the reservation, I specifically asked to be sure. I hate getting hasseled like that.

The very nice elderly gentleman in front of me on line spoke up and said that for me :P
