If you could go back and redo something

I know we all have somethings we would change. I was thinking of something that might change your life in some way.

Mine would be to not only have done kitchen design but I also
would have gone to culinary school. We had one in the college I went to.
I regret that so much. I am self taught from books, cooking shows ect.

Even last night I watched GOOD EATS and learned something very new for me. Now I have to practice it to master it.

So you all must have something you would do or change.

I often think about this, and there is a lot I'd LIKE to undo, but the things I would want to change are all pretty major paths in my life, and I'd be afraid that changing that ...would change my present life since it took a special spermy to make my two beautiful boys. So nothing for me! My husband and children are the best ever :)

Why not just go back now? It's never too late and there's usually financial aid available.

absolutely agree with that! it is never too late!!! ....sooo when are you enrolling for culinary school!?!
I live by "no regrets, you can't change the past only learn from it". Dwelling on regrets only takes up time you could spend on today.

Everyday offers a new opportunity to make choices, so go for it! 8)
I would have become a school librarian. Maybe one day when Steve makes twice as much money and I can quite work to go back to school full-time :D
i wouldnt change any one big thing in my life. i am so happy and blessed, you cant take the good without the bad, and both are necessary and important.

.the only thing that i would change is my wedding dress...i bought the first one i tried on..it was okay, but 2 months later, i knew what i really wanted and was stuck with the original.......if thats my only complaint, im doing okay! 8)
My biggest regret is smoking, so I would like to go back and change the day I had my first cigarette.
I'm a firm believer in 'fate' so when something goes wrong or bad, I always tell myself there is a reason this is happening and something good will come of this. I have had to make some awful decisions in my life and as much as I think at the time, no thats not good, somewhere down the line I think, blimey, it is a good job I did that because I wouldn't be in this situation now. So no, I wouldn't change a thing
I would like to have been a vet or a lawyer, but other than that I wouldn't chnage anything
I don't know if I'd do much different either. Maybe not double perm my hair (first perm didn't take) when I was in 4th grade...

But yeah, all the major things that I would consider re-doing, would have me ending up in a different place than I am now, which means no baby or hubby (could have been a DIFFERENT baby and hubby, lol)...so I guess I'd keep much the same.
I have thought about this thread off and on. So far in my life there is nothing that I would go back and redo. If I could change something :D then it would be better health. But then that has nothing to do with anything I could change. Going through life and its learning experiences is what in the end makes us very much who we are. That I would never change. So maybe the poor health has some nice side effects.
OMG I would have insisted on treating my gout years before or at least aggressively at the beginning of the recent flare up that has taken more than a month to get to the point where now I can walk again.

Stupid doctors!!!!!
I would have trained to be a teacher instead of a legal secretary. Then I wouldnt have spent the last 15 years being a frustrated teaching assistant. :?
