ASPCA Puppy Facts Database

I'm cross posting this from rescuing a sheepdog thread. I've been a member of the ASPCA for going on five years and thought that this would be helpful for people looking to adopt.

The ASPCA is proud to offer the Puppy Facts Database, a new online tool that provides information and reports on breeders and pet stores in your area.

Hmm is it just me or does this look like a witch hunt? anybody I searched on wasn't there - but i was invited to report them. and when I did a random state search and clicked on a few random breeders you get an ad for shelters in their immediate area (cause that is the preferable way to get a good dog we all know) and almost all of my random breeders had no inspections or reoports available. Why list so many people with no info unless you are trying to build a list of perspective - what? victims?

We know how to find good breeders - go with the breed clubs. Sorry this is redundant and dangerous. you can get inspection reports from the State.
