skin complaint

molly is an 11year old sheepdog that has develloped a skin complaint of dry scabs that she trys to itch which she can,t do very easily due to stiff joints, they also make her smell. she,s been to the vets he ,s given her antibiotics and some shampoo that we usad every other day, this helped a bit but didn,t cure it, if anybody has any advice please let me know thanks stuart

Could it be Seborrhea?
Also, have you ever had her checked for low thyroid?
