Still not potty trained at 6 months???

I'm soooooo frustrated and I don't know where to begin. :( Molly is 6 months old today. Sometimes she can go two days without going in the house and then she acts like she doesn't know she is supposed to go outside. She is smart. I know she is. I just don't get it. Unfortunately, I'm a working Mom and she is home most days by herself. How long can I expect a 6 month old to hold it. Although, Molly will go outside and then come in to pee. Please advise.

I know there are lots of people on the forum who will be able to give you great advice but I just wanted to say "Hang in there!!!"
I was getting really worried about Tiggy at around 6 months too. My dalmo was fully potty trained by 4 months and my vet said 4 to 5 months but Tiggy was exactly the same as Molly (great sheepie name by the way), we'd have one or two nights with no accidents and I'd think halleluja we've done it, then back to weeing during the day and/or pooping at night.
I was just about to go back to my vet for advice when, all of a sudden Tiggy seemed to GET it. It almost seemed to happen over night.
If you're concerned maybe a vet check for a urinary tract infection or other medical issue but maybe she's like Tiggy and just taking her time to get it all organised.
See what the more experienced sheepie people have to say and take it from there, but dont give up yet. It might just be next week that it will suddenly happen.

our dog shawn is urinating in the house when wife is preparing food. now she has given both dogs a piece of meat, white chicken, shawn (OES) wants more! but doen't get it so he urinates on the floor, alot twice this week alone.I have been potty training him all this week, we have only had him a week. Not only been urinating but poop once this week, not alot. Help?
Housebreaking is a real hurdle, especially if you are not home to ensure frequent outside trips. We were extremely fortunate with Bailee. I am retired and have the time to take him out whenever he had to go. The process took about 2 weeks until he completely learned but it also took many (2 and 3 times) a night sometimes at 2, 3, or 4 in the morning (and it was cold here in November. ) EVERY time your buddy goes, LOTS of praise and a good treat will work wonders. They really learn fast and it is a good idea to keep them confined during the early stages because you will find that they do not want to mess up their "personal" space. Never scold or hollar at mishaps (unless you catch them in the act) and always praise, praise, praise at the successes. Good luck.
