Im having a bad experience with puppy find. I listed an irish setter pup. A girl named Kimberly also listed a pup. Cathy tried to find out info about purchasing one of Kimberlys pups. Kimberly was evasive regarding pedigrees AKC numbers health clearances etc. Cathy posted on puppy find a beware against breeders who wont offer accurate info. I applauded Cathy. My email address name and phone number were on puppy find under my add so Kimberly knew who posted the applaud. Kimberly called my home twice cussing me out. Kimberly called all the other breeders on puppy find and told them Cathy was a puppy mill and not to sell to her. I checked Cathy and she is NOT. Next Kimberly posted a BEWARE against me stating I am a puppy mill and I sell sick pups. I do not !! I am a long time member of the irish setter club of AMerica and have bred and exhibited champion irish setters of record and only breed 1 litter every few years whenI want a dog to show. This is documented with litters I have reg with AKC. Puppy find does not monitor nor screen any people, breeders or adds on their sites. All they care about is your paying to publish adds on their sites. A couple of weeks ago a add was published using a pic of a dog out of a calendar and on a mouse pad saying he was the sire of a particular litter. I threatened puppy find I would contact e-bay regarding fraudulent use of their dogs pic. They did remove not the posting but that pic. I would never buy a dog from puppy find because I find most are either back yard breeders who just breed two dogs together or puppy mills. I recommend buying from a reputible breeder found in parent clubs or AKC has a listing of a parent club of your particular breed. |
