Looking for Tall Boots for Show Dog

I figured it was worth a try to ask here in addition to the many other places I put out calls on. Does anyone know anyone other than Barb Lamb who makes the kind of boots show OES wear? I know Barb broke her arm so she'll probably not be producing a lot of boots for awhile.

I'm looking for some like this:

If anyone even has a pair to sell, I'd buy them off of you. It's getting real muddy this time of year and Owen's feet are in dire straits.

Jill did you see the ones Sancho had on in the Pictures section? You'd have to order them from Sweden, but they looked like they'd be great. :?

I couldn't read the website. :(
I would like 3 pairs if you find them!!!!! LOL
I have two sets, they cost me $50 bucks a set.... I got them at a dog show, the brand is "Pawsazz"

www.pawsazz.com

They are the perfect length, velcro that stays shut and the soles are similar to mukluks I think.
I got a hot line on someone who does them. I'll post the link if it works out...

Hi Jill.

I know the boots that Sancho has and they are very good and cost about $ 41 plus postage, if you are intrested I am in contact with the woman and I intend bying two pairs for my sheepies.

Maybe we could get together and buy a few pairs we might get a better price.

Stewart
I have an e-mail in to someone that Doug Johnson recommended that he's worked with and really liked the boots. I'm waiting on a reply back from her now but if it doesn't pan out, I'd probably be interested. Hold that thought and I'll report back after I hear from this lady in the U.S.
Jill - If you are able to get some I would appreciate you hooking me up with whoever is selling them. I have muttluks but I need the full length booties.
Me too :D
Stewart, I may be interested in ordering with you. Jill let me know what you find out.

These are mine that Tove sent the fur kids and I think they are from the same lady that stewart is ordering off.

I can highly recommend them in all weather, there durable too, better then the ones I originally had and snow proof as well, not that, that is an issue here in our mostly sunny climate.  But with mud, wet weather etc AWESOME, keeps the tootsies nice, dry and clean  and through burr season as well. I love them, best ever, nice and tough too, no splitting and long enough to keep the legs clean but not too long that they annoy them when out and about in them.

If you can find some of durable quality there that are long enough then good, but if not maybe think about stewarts offer of a bulk order.

Baby blue for Syd, baby pink for babs and Hot pink for Queen B.

What size are you guys getting?
I know they're not for IN the ring, but I have this funny vision of all these show sheepies parading around the show ring in various colors of high boots...Jill, what color boots will YOU be wearing? :D
Jill she has a fair idea of the size an average Bobtail needs.
Well, I haven't heard back from my person yet but it's only been a day. However, I like that these boots also come highly recommended and, at worst, I could order one pair with you guys and try the other ones, too to have as a back up pair.

So, I'm in Stewart. Just let me know how to proceed.

Me three.

And can I get mine neon colored with reflective strips and a built in alarm for when they manage to pull them off in the dead of night?

Kristine
Stewart....I would also love a pair or actually, probably 2 pairs.

I just realized that you had a link in there. Those look good, too, Stacey. Thanks!
I did not notice the link either  I just went on the site and I am going to order from there.
I also just placed an order at http://www.brightybooties.com

Doug Johnson and Dea Freheit gave her a glowing recommendation and the ship time says 2-3 days. They look nice. I figured I'd try the US ones first since shipping is always easier (or should be!).

So, what size did you order?
I ordered the XL and also indicated the breed in the order form. It sounds like she's made a lot for Bugaboo and Snowdowne so she probably has a pretty good feeling for the sizing, too. Owen is really heavily boned so even if he's on the borderline of L and XL, I have a feeling he'll be an XL as he thickens out even more (plus growing more coat).

This whole thread has been amazingly helpful, as was the OES show list. Thanks everyone!

Stewart, I'd still give a Swedish pair a try as well. Clyde and Bear could use them as well so it won't hurt me to have more than one pair.
No problem Jill I will organize this next week when I am home, are any other forum members still interested ?

I need to know for a dog or a bitch and preferred color with a substitute color.
Jill, Got a new pair from Madeline for Apolo, but they were too small for his big boned legs. I'm thinkng maybe xxl because of all that show hair. Owen will have the same problem I would think. He's a cutie! So glad I met you at the specialty in PA. I hope Owen is doing well. Don't want that hair to mat in those boots!
Jill, it's me Mary from NY as guest on the boots. Apolo has his bones and hair that seem to be a problem sliding them on.
Hi guys, just an update. I got the boots from Brighty Booties and they're really nice-- very well made. I got the XL and they fit exactly right-- for now! But, they definitely seem like they'll stay on well. Plus, she shipped them so fast that I got them in like 3 days. I give them a thumbs up!

They must have come yesterday then? I am anxious to see them in case I need to buy any in the future!

They did. They were waiting for me when I got home. Luckily the weather was agreeable for the show in the morning! I'll bring them to Ohio so you can check them out.
I just ordered a pair for Chewie. I picked the XXL.
I'll let you know when we get them.
I just got off the phone with Madeline and she has several sets of boots for sale for NYS Rescue. Assorted colors available. $40.00 plus shipping. She made Apolo the cutest pair in camouflage. If anyone is interested ,her email is: waynenik@aol.com . She mentioned maybe matching scarves for 5.00. Thought I'd pass this along.
Just an update - mine came Thursday. I got the XXL and they look like they will fit (I already have short ones we use). They will get a test this weekend at the show we are going to. The show is at a fairgrounds and we are in different buildings - so wet grass for sure, hoping just from dew, not rain!
Owen wore his all week while he hung out with his brother (while James and I were in Las Vegas) and he came back nice and clean. His brother's mom said they stayed on great, too.
Chewie wore his this weekend at the show - they get 2 thumbs up!
They were the brightybooties. The XXL should be good for most OES males with a decent amount of bone. Rescue boy Otis would take a large.
Any chance any of them will be available to try on the really big guys in St louis ?
This topic seems dated but just in case anyone is still looking, there is a british company making them called countrymun - they used to be at crufts every year but were not there this year but you can still get them through their website.
I dont know if you can get different colours made but might be worth checking.

I am here because i wondered if anyone could suggest best grooming tools for oes?

Thanks
Just happened across the site. http://www.jemarpet.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=1519
