Sheepie bangs
I'm new to posting but have been reading since I brought home little Gautreaux (Go-Tro) who is now 6 months old. I have been grooming him with a pin brush and comb and now that he has more mats, when I pull out the knots with the comb he yelps... So, I have 2 questions: 1) Should I get him a short cut for summer to ease-up on mat production and keep him cool? (We live in VA.) Is it too soon to cut him as a 6 month old? (I don't really want to shave him as he is an indoor dog mostly). 2) He seems to bump into things...We pony-tailed his bangs, but he still can't fetch really well...is this normal? Should I worry about just keeping his bangs down or is that mean? I think his "eyesight" persay is just fine... Thanks! Gautreaux's mom, Melanie |
