dog doors funny

We had this dog door that opened with the collars on the dogs, good door BUT when the dogs play they pull on them and they break.... and of course matttttts from the collars. and when very cold they do not work. So I bought a diffeent door, 3 flaps for the colder weather works great, but a pain to put in. What was funny was waiting for the dogs to us it. They stood there FOREVER waiting for it to open for them. Once they figured it out it is great. Blue still sleeps just out side the door, he is to nosey to go to far, wants to listen to everything the house. Our poodle does use it when we are not around and will not use it when I am in the room she waits for me to open the flap for her. But she too is to nosey to what is going on outside she just makes a running leap at it and flys out.

Cute story!
Your story is so funny. My Violet likes to stick only her head out of the doggy door and look around. I think she is trying to figure out if anything is going on outside that she should be involved with. Sometimes she goes out and other times her head goes back in. Silly sheepie.
That is too funny
