Who's that doggie in the window??

Winnie's hair finally grew enough that we could gather it in a top knot so she could see better.
So, she's out on the deck where there are three sets of double-sliding glass doors.
All of a sudden she sees her reflection in the window 8O and WHOOP, must play with that doggie in the window! She runs at her reflection, stops, cuts to the right, then cuts to the left. Runs to the next window. Does the same thing.
She picks up a ball, runs to the reflection and stops, just looking. Then, WHOOSH, off she goes to the next window. Then to the edge of the deck, then runs back to the window. Looks at herself, then off she goes to the reflection in the next door. Back and forth. Almost all afternoon!
We thought it was a fluke and funny as heck.
But she does it all the time when she's on the deck! We tried showing her it was only her own reflection, but she doesn't care. It's a dog! We can PLAY!
Any of your puppies do this?? LOL.
(Would insert pic but haven't figured out how...)

Nigel likes to go up to the glass doors on my fireplace and growl at the dog inside...silly sheepie!
Finn barks at his reflection in the tv
Violet used to stop and look at herself every time she would run by a mirror I had on my wall in my living room. There was a chair in front of the mirror and she would put her front jpaws on the chair and check herself out in the mirror. It was really cute.
i had to replace all of einys food and water bowls with plastic ones as he was scared of the dog in the bottom of his stainless steel water bowl!!!!

for weeks he would only drink out of a tea cup untill we realised it was himself he was scared of not the bowls.

zoe and einy
when we brought Marley home as a new puppy we had just moved into the new house and in the pantry there was a mirror laying on the floor - she loved that reverse puppy!! SHe would go in and play bark at it and paw at it :D :D

Funny thing is Morgan has some what reverse markings from her and I suspect she thought in her little doggie brain when we brought him home 6 weeks later that he was her reverse puppy playmate from the pantry (I had picked up the mirror by then  )
Nope dogs are OK with reflections, but we had a male roadrunner who'd beat himself bloody fighting with his reflection in the glass door......not just once but for several years.
What a silly girl Winnie is! I'd be laughing my butt off all day watching her play that game.
This is so funny. We had a floor mirror in our bedroom, that we had to remove to another room. Kirby just would bark, whine or growl at himself. He would knock the mirror and it would move back all around.
My daughter left one in her room also. But we need to keep that door closed. He goes right for the mirrors everytime. They are full of nose prints.

Thanks for the laugh, I would have loved to have seen that!
:D There are mirror doors on my bedroom clothes closet and in the morning, when Willoughby wakes up, he admires his relfection in the mirrors. I will post a photo when I find my camera!! Where did I put it? 8O
