Anxiety

My dog Boris is 8 months old and a big worrier. He is anxious of people and does not like being touched on the back by people. He is also very scared of children particularly boys and if in a house will go for them and bite.

Any help

He may need some more socializing, slowly. Our puppy was never what I'd call anxious, but she would get bitey when she was tired. Didn't matter who was around. We started giving her a set routine that included naps during the day and taking her to a pet store where she could interact with a lot of people, other puppies, and other dogs. That actually seemed to settle her down and now she's very used to being around others.
We still have trouble sometimes touching her head. She doesn't like it - but mostly when she's worn out. So, it could be the same with your pup's back.
Dogs used their mouths like we use our hands. It's the only way that can "feel" what's around them.
It's also possible that the pup is teething. Ice, a cold frozen cloth to chew, and soft toys to bite might help.
That's all I can think of right now without more information about the pup.
Ours is now almost 9 months old.
Hope this helps some!
