UK Sheepie day

Hi all,

I wonder if we would have another Sheepie day before we leave for good?

Our leaving date for UK is: wed, 24. June, 10 am!!

(Cassie, if you're at home we would like to visit you again for the last time, as we are passing your house when going to the ferry. I'm booking the ferry asap, so please let me know! Cheers xxxxx)

My last working day is Fri, 12. June, after this date it would be easy for me to arrange something as I've got off anyway! Max is still in college Mon&tues until we go, but I'm sure we could arrange something!

Sheepie Day UK !!!
:ghug: :ghug: :ghug:    :yay: :yay: :yay: :excited: :excited: :excited: :high5: :high5: :high5: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :go: :go: :go:    :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:
Respond to this topic here on forum.oes.org
that would be good. We are away for a week 20th June but as neither of us are working we are quite flexible, as long as Summer doesnt come into season again! :P
Kim talked about it a while ago but I don't think that anything has been confirmed yet.

I'm sure something wil be sorted out before you go to Germany.
YEAY!! UK SHEEPIE DAY!!!

Greg has been asking when the next one will be (I think Ru is missing Poppy too!) we can't wait to see everyone again

Monika, I have sent you a message on Facebook x x :D
Ooohhhh a sheepie day - we are packing our bags ready to go - can't wait!! I'm organising another charity ball for June 13th so I'll be busy in the run up to that and then go on holiday June 26th so anytime in-between will be good for us. Poppy & Sweetpea both got spayed last Thursday so they're supposed to be recouperating at the moment (tell that to two energetic mad sheepies who just want to play!) so by June they should be ready, and able, to run with the pack!
someone needs to decide on a date.....then see if it is ok.....
Monday 22nd June
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Sheepie Day!!!!!!!! WHERE!!!!!

:cheer:

Sorry didn't read that Sue is on holiday from 20th.
How about Friday 19th June or if that's too close to Sue's holiday - maybe Thursday 18th?? I don't care where - wherever it is we'll be there!
If you all being your sheepies over to mine when you come to the ball we could have it at Sandringham on the Sunday 14th! Hmmm..... maybe that's not such a good idea - 15 or so sheepies in my house.....
depending on dates and distance venue etc Archie and I will try to make this, but I haven't taken him far in the car yet

Not trying to impose on any plans, but weekends are best for me - no leave left this year!
Shall we find out if weekend or weekday is best for everyone? I dont mind, I still have to order my Removal Van and I would do it on the day when the Sheepie day is NOT on!! LOL

What's about 18th/19. June as Karen thought???
18th sounds good to me but dont worry if we dont all agree, we can always do another later in the year
Anyone have any idea of a place!!!

You all know the one near me... But I think it maybe a bit to far for some of you!!!! Have a think!!!! :)
What about if everyone throws ideas/places in where we could meet up,especially as everybody lives in opposite directions!

We live in the middle, so I dont mind where!!
For us it's best if it's not a Thursday, any other day in June is OK with plenty of advance warning :D
no idea of a place sorry! nothing really good near us. we are away as I said 20th June for a week but 19th would be pushing it as well.
Weird - I'm watching this topic but not getting notifications of new posts?? Anyway - we can make any day after 13th June, weekdays or weekends, bearing in mind half of you will be in Norfolk on 13th for the charity ball so the 14th is out too - but we go away on June 26th. Monika is free after 12th but leaves on 24th, Sue is away from 20th, Cassie would prefer not a Thursday, Archie's Slave (sorry don't know your name!) would prefer a weekend - Oh dear - so how about a vote?
As I read the dates above it sounds like 15th to 19th inclusive should catch most people available?

My name is Mark by the way.

Don't worry about me, if I can wangle something I will try, if not then there is always another time.
What's about Wednesday 17. June, good for Cassie (not on a thursday) and for Sue (before the 18th).

If we set this date we can then look further into the place!
Wednesday June 17th is fine with us!! How about everyone else??

 Getting excited now!!

How many dancing bananas is that Vicki :?:
Yep that day is fine with us. How far are people coming from the north? I guess we should find somewhere as central as possible for everyone.

That looks like a lot of nanas!!
Just found my map from the first sheepie day we had but there's lots of new people to add now! If you let me know who is planning to come and roughly where you live I can update the map so we can see where is most central for us all to get to?

We really hope to be able to make it this year. We are in Peebles in the
Scottish Borders but Archie travels well so a bit of a journey won't
stop him!!
Great! Wednesday, 17. June!! How fab!!! :ghug: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:

We are COMING!!! As you know karen, we come from Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

Yeah lets find a place good for everyone to come!!

Maybe if its too far south we could get Archie and George together (finally)
It appears that noone seems to have any ideas of where we could go for Sheepie Day so it looks as the best place would be to stick to the Waterpark and go there.

At least everyone knows where it is and it has everything needed for the day.

Just a thought
I've been having a look for other places and I wondered about Sherwood Forest or Clumber Park? They're a bit further north than the waterpark but I guess it depends where everyone is travelling from. I've only added a couple of people onto the map so far but haven't uploaded it yet as I thought there would be more people wanting to come.

We're happy with the waterpark, as you say - it does have everything we need but I didn't know if it was too far south for you? Luckily both Poppy & Sweetpea travel well so we don't mind where we go!

Poor Monika has to travel all the way to Germany a few days later so I guess we should make it close to her!

Ooh how nice Karen!!! :D

Our journey is "only" 24 hours to Munich, the lucky thing is: I dont have to go back the same way, it's only ONE way!!

I'm ok with the Waterpark aswell, if it's fine for everyone else!!
.. and as you said: the most people know it already and it's in the middle!!

:go: :clappurple: :excited: :go: so it's a YES from me!!
sounds ok for us...as long as Summer doesnt come into season!!

I keep missing this thread as someone said (karen I think without looking) it isnt showing up as a new thread
Anyone else interested in coming and I'll 'put you on the map' so to speak! Mark - whereabouts in Dorset are you and I'll put you on if you can make it on a weekday. craigernesheepdog - is that Susan? I have a Susan on the map already in the right area of Scotland but I'm not sure if that's you!

Anyone else??

Ok so now its 54 bananas I think?? and counting down.........

are we on? Northampton (Sue)
You are now!
Have we made a decision on anything yet?
Most people who have expressed an opinion seem to be OK with Wednesday June 17th at the Waterpark where we've been before but I don't know if anyone else has any other suggestions?? We're OK with that - come on everybody - what do you say???

Or shall we make that a definate and then do a new thread to 'catch' anyone who hasn't seen this one?? I want to start getting excited about it!

Oh pleeeeeease........
Sorry not this time.

But you know I will be thinking of you all on the day!!!
Im not sure yet!!! As steve has to see if if he can get the day off work!!!
If we can make it I won't be there till after 1pm as im working!!!

Hopefully we can make it! :)
Maybe we should pick a different day/location so that we can ALL be there???
It have to be soon a desicion, as I already planed around the Sheepie Day cause I thought we would meet on the 17th.

On the 19th comes the Removal Van, on the 14th I booked to work on a fair.

PS: Why cant you come Vicky?????? :?: 8O
Go for the 17th the day you all sorted!! I will do my best to be there!!!!

It maybe late but I hope to get there!!! I think Lindy is coming too!!

kim :)
Hey Kim, we are going to stay all day anyway, travelling a long way, so we will make a good full day of it :D
we stay all day too, because it will be probably the last time! Shall we arrange a time when to meet? What about 10am as last year???!!!!
Any other suggestions??
sounds good I am keeping a very low profile though as Summer will probably be in season!! But you never know she may be early or very late....
Say 11 to 11.30 that gives people time to travel :)
We won't be staying overnight the night before this time so 11am will be fine for us to give us chance to get there with potty breaks! They'll be too tired on the way home to worry about stopping much!!

Looking forward to it!

I'll upload the map soon if that's all of us.....
Hi I have a 8 month old, oes Im new to this web site, can we come?

hi im flutterfly- didnt want people to get confused, i've signed in!!!
is this def then? if it is i will be booking somewhere to stay?!!!!
I'm so excited!!!!!!!
Hi Flutterfly or Mariamcsorley! We usually stay over the night before at Marston Farm hotel. Its really close to the Waterpark where we will meet.

http://www.brook-hotels.co.uk/hotels/wa ... arm-hotel/

They are very good and let you have your dog in the room and will serve food in the bar area for you. You might want to ring and check they haven't changed their rules over allowing pets as its over a year since we stayed!

Looking forward to meeting you! I'll add you to the map!
thanks for that. I think my husband was talking about camping, so may stay at the waterpark place as they have a camp site. should be fun- :?
Hey you got a yorkie in one of your photos, my yorkie is called Tilly or Chantilly Lace to give her her Sunday name. My sheepie is Summer but Tilly is the boss! nice to see your photos!
yes the yorkie is my mums dog. she is the boss too. My oes- Tilly loves playing with her but she is old now and doesn't like to play back!
Can I come pretty please. I will be bringing Willow my 10 month girlie. What happens on the day?? Can children come along as well. We are in Hertfordshire.

Debsx
EVERYONE is welcome- the first year we came we didn't even have a sheepie, but everyone was really helpful and gave us tons of help and advice and we got to cuddle all the sheepies too!

The site is a large open space with grass and then some routes to walk around the lakes.
We usually aim to turn up around 10ish but if you can't make it that early it's OK, just turn up! We have a bite to eat then walk the dogs round a few of the walks in the park, there are a few different routes you can take.
It's best to bring food and refreshments if you are staying all day as I don't think there is food onsite but there is a cafe. There is also an outside tap near the toilets where you can water your dogs

We usually have another walk later too. If you turn up but can't see us, we are probably taking a walk, but always return to the same spot after.

Looking forward to meeting everyone! :excited:
OK Here is the map with everyone who has expressed an interest in coming and where they live ('approximately' for those where I just had a county!)

Please let me know if I've missed anyone or made out you live somewhere where you don't!

I'm really looking forward to it now!

I'm not coming, but I have to say I love your map!!!!

As an admitted not so knowledgeable UK person, what is the scale of your map? how far apart are some of you, like those on the further distances? I figure it is never too late to broaden my geographical horizons...
Oh I'm so upset that I can't make this, sounds like you guys will have fun though...............

Val
this will be my first time going to a play date. I am so excited, Im already packed!!!! lol
Valb we really ought to arrange a mini Dorset meetup at some time.

Hi Mark,
I just need to get round to it my grooming business is booming at the moment.

Perhaps we could look at the end of may?

Val

We're down south - Guildford area. Happy to travel though & make a day of it. Do people ever meet up in the south?
This will only be the third time we've had a 'big' UK meet up and we've always had them at the Waterpark because its fairly central for most people but looking at my map I guess there are a lot more of us 'darn saaaaf' as Vicki so nicely puts it!
I am soo looking forward to meeting everyone. this will be our first time, but definatly wont be our last!!!!
Tilly is looking forward to meeting all the other oes. She's having a summer puppy cut next week ready for meeting lots of new friends!!! :D

Cough Cough, just a technical point :D

Somewhere in the Midlands is not in the Sarf as Cassie would say

As an ex midlander living in the South of England I should know

Not stirring up a N/S divide I am just helping others unfamiliar with the UK get their bearings! :D
I know. we are living in Gosport, near Portsmouth down south at the moment as my husband is in the Navy. But HE is originally from a Guisborough which is a town near middlesborough up north. I am from Gosport, this is where we met.
Sorry for not making myself clear

I may have.... :D

My Father was from Hedley on the Hill and my Mother was from East Boldon, My paternal Grandfather was from Wick, two of my sons were born in Truro and one in Germany.

Us Midlanders down South may have more regional experience than you'd imagine at first sight

I lived in Elgin for three years also.
Your dad will probably know there is nothing between Manchester and Edinburgh then

Hedley on the Hill is not far at all from me.
I'll put mine in as well, my hubby is from Newcastle and lived in Redcar for years he's always on about the North/South divde.
My best friend used to live in East Bolden - what a small world!

North/South/East/West we don't care where you live or come from - if you love sheepies you're OK with us!!

Guisborough is very near me . :) I'm in Redcar :)
Don't start me on about the north south divide one of my best mates is a southerner and i wind him up something rotten about being a "southern jessie"
Boy am I glad that I am Scottish I am not even going to get involved in the conversation since the Scots all come from Gods chosed country
just to throw something in:

ok I'm german but when we moved over we lived for 6 months (I wish I stayed longer!) in Oxford, then moved to Sheffield, then Chesterfield and now we go back to Germany.

Little roundtrip which took us 12 years! lol

I dont see a division between north and south, the only difference for me is the weather!!! I love sun and swimming, therefor should have stayed in the south.
That's why i call Rob a "southern jessie" he hasn't got used to the cold North Easterly wind yet and he is always complaining he is cold.

I don't suppose we saw your dog in Saltburn on the beach? we were walking Tilly either the first or second week of April, and there was a 3 month old OES being walked by a man. ring any bells? or is there another OES that lives in Saltburn?

Maria and Tilly
That wasn't Marls as he is 3 years old now, although he does act like a 3 month old half the time  .
I do walk to Saltburn but i haven't seen the pup yet . I was walking Saltburn way last week with a lady who has two OES that are 9 and 2 years old.

I will have to keep an eye out for the pupster :)

Ru has been telling me this morning he's so excited about seeing his girlfriend Poppy, he's emptied the washing basket sock by sock to prove his point & we have only been up 10 minutes
Poor Cassie - not a good start to the day  We've just come back from our morning walk and Poppy has put a nice wet paw on my knee to make sure I pass on her love to Rufus
i cant wait to meet you all. Tilly and I are soooo excited!!!
I've never been to one before, so whats the plan for the day? what time are we all meeting and where? what do we need?
Maria it looks like this might be a bumper year with more sheepies than ever! I think we said we are hoping to meet around 11am. As you enter the waterpark if you follow the road round to the car park you will see a huge field to your right with some picnic tables on at the edge of the field. We usually all gather there until we have all arrived as there's plenty of space for the sheepies to run around and get to know each other! We then usually have a nice walk around one of the set trails round the lakes and return to the 'camp' for some lunch. Most people bring a picnic but you can buy lunch at the on site shop if you don't bring your own. Then after lunch we have another walk for an hour or so and people drift back off home by late afternoon.

I would suggest you bring a camera (most important as everyone wants lots of pictures!) comfy footwear and something waterproof (fingers crossed altready for nice weather!) along with food and drink for you and your 4 legged friend.

We're very excited too - can't wait!
wonderful, it sounds as if it is going to be a really good day!
We are camping at the waterpark in the campsite so 11 is fine with us- you never get a lie in whilst camping :)
YES :cheer: Me, Rob, Ted and George will all be comming too. Fingers crossed for the weather. Vickie, it is a shame you can't make it, Ted had a little something for you!

We hope you all have a good time at the sheepie day, I am pleased to say I have received the wire brushes and they will be sent to Kim later today, there are 12 brushes in the packet at 6 pounds each, the money will go to the Scottish OES Club (Rescue) and will be used to help finance a sheepie day for rescue dogs next year.

I will send a bottle of whiskey over to the club to be raffled off to help support Gill Harwood.

I'm so busy organising our annual charity ball which is the Saturday before Sheepie day that I keep forgetting about it! When I remember I get all excited again!! Sorry but you won't be getting any homemade gifts from me this year as the timing is just not right with ball organising - just to warn you in advance!

Bring on those dancing nanas :cheer: :clappurple: :cheer:

Some one has been eating the nanas
As I haven't been before - I take it that the entrance is clearly marked ?
Yes, if we can manage to find it, I'm sure you can! If I remember correctly there is a sign at the entrance, I think that road has nothing else on it until you see the sign. It's a typical country park type thing, can't remember if you have to pay to enter or for parking? It's really cheap though, someone less scatty than me will know the details
         days to gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

:excited: :yay: :excited:
Yipeee....fingers crossed for the weather :crossed:
Archie should be one big drooly dribbly mess after three hours in the car, anyone got any tips on eleviating this
poor archie, and you! just frequent car stops and lots of old towels to absorb the slobber!
Just keep loads of towels handy. I think you can buy dry shampoo from larger supermarkets, but honestly, once they have seen each other it's going to be drool central anyway

I don't think there is any chance of Ru staying clean so I'm not going to worry, just gonna have fun- and plenty of it 8)
I am going to put his vet blanket in the back along with his towels, I am hoping he'll relax enough to sleep a lot of the journey, the furthest he has been in a car is about an hour, he was very good in my Roadster, but then he was sat next to me (and on me at times!), in the Audi estate he will be in the back, I don't think he'll be having any Breaky that day incase he yacks up! which he used to do in my Volvo saloon quite regularly :( to be honest I am probably stressing myself up about it and he'll probably be fine. but I do intend to take hourly breaks for him, to let him pee and have a drink etc and a little walk.

I think Archie will be fine! Just have a short walk to pee in the morning and stretch his legs and off we go!

When we drove to Munich with Charlie last year, it was a 24 hour trip! We never been before with her in the car longer than a couple of hours and I wondered how she would handle it?! But she was the best dog you can ever have on a long trip like that! She just slept all the way and didnt even barked! We only had 3 breaks all the way and she waited nicely for us 2 make a break! We only got a Citroen Saxo but we put her bed in, so she felt comfortable and water to drink when she wants!
where are the freaky bananas when you need them
Ru won't have any brekkie either, he simply won't eat that early, and if he did he would yak it up too. He'll have plenty of treats when we get there to keep him going. Ru only gets agitated if we get stuck in traffic, which is very likely on the M25 :( we'll have to leave really early to avoid the jams.

Archie might surprise you, he's a big boy now. It's good to have him get used to travelling so you might as well just stop worrying. One thing is for sure.. the journey back will be very peaceful

A week today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

       :yay:
BOOOOOOO
Can we have an up to date list of who is coming and woofers names please? So I can try to remember who folks are. Now Summer has just about finished on heat, but Tilly has decided to start hers. So she will be left at home with grown up son! God knows how we will get out of house without her noticing! I will have to let her think she has escaped upstairs to create havoc and sneak out the front door!

Do we just meet up in the car park?
Well, we usually meet in the field on the right from the main car park, opposite side of the main road in. But just look for the sheepies! Somehow we always turn up when everyone is on a walk and we have to search to find everyone, but look in the field, towards the back and that is where we usually are. We won't hide from you I promise  There is a cafe and toilet facilities.

Kingsbury Water Park

It says dogs allowed under control

Oh, and parking is £3 for the day.
I hope you all have a great day and the rain holds off for you all.
Vicki & George wrote:

As above

Julianne and Marls
I am getting excited, going to aim to get there about 11 ish. Hubby has to take medication in the morning so he cant rush dont worry I will just talk to anyone walking a sheepie. He doesnt do long walks either but we dont care. Having a lovely day today, got to target at slimming world, passed my ou course, so I am sure tomorrow will continue to be super. I now need to find the postcode for the park so the sat nav knows the way!
Just so you all find us if you've not been before:

Kingsbury Water Park
Bodymoor Heath Lane
Bodymoor Heath
Sutton Coldfield
West Midlands
B76 0DY

Just made our picnic ready - getting excited now!   We are aiming to leave home about 8 so should be there about 11ish too! Haven't had chance to groom Poppy & Sweetpea and I'm too tired now so you'll have to take them as you find them!
Yuck - just checked the weather again and I would advise waterproofs

http://www.myweather2.com/activity/fore ... 127&sday=1

I'm sure it won't spoil our fun - we just might need to bring a few towels with us!

Just a reminder - DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERAS!!!!!

See you all tomorrow (will miss you Vicki   )
Hi everyone, maria jim and tilly here. SOooooo looking forward to tomorrow. we are aiming to be there for 10am. We are staying at a service station on the M6 I think we are 20 odd mins aways- which isn't too bad- hope traffic is good. OK so well will aim to find and be on the field that everyone has mentioned by about 10am. DON'T leave without us otherwise we will never find you- lol
See you all tomorrow, really looking forward to meeting you all.
OH just reading other posts, I haven't got any food. will we be going back to the cafe area to eat? Otherwise i'll starve :( lol
hi everyone, can't wait till tomorrow! whoop whoop!

we'll be there around mid-day... depends how lost we get!

i've kept the whole thing a secret from my boyfriend, JB, who is a massive sheepie fan. all he knows is that we're going 'north', we're allowed to take wolfgang and he needs his swimming trunks (bit of a red herring but it is a water park)!!

just looked at the map - the water park looks pretty massive but we'll just look out for the flock! whoop!
 Nope no can do  kitchen fitters cannot make another day for 2 weeks eeekkkk, so will have to duck out guys, but willbe thinking of you all, have a lovely day and please post plenty of piccies.

Also the brush I ordered can you re-sell it?

Debs wots sad she and Willow cannot come out to play :(
Oh I am so sorry you cant make it. I know how sad and dejected I was last year. Maybe next year or later in the autumn?

Been up since 6! dogs fed and toileted, need to get off computer and get sorted. Not sure what to wear keeps coming over dark here!

We did had another 2nd walk after some people left, which was sad as the sun came out for a bit!! 8O

All over, a brilliant day!!! Thanx to everyone who came!!!

Nice to meet everyone and all the sheepies of course

It really opened my eyes to the scope of sizes and coat differences.

It was very funny with the matriarchal sheepies telling the boys off

My journey home was an hour and fifteen minutes shorter than the one up there :D

Archie appeared to sleep most of it, with only the occasional nose poking up in the air!

And the damp soggy mucky archie that was loaded in the back of the car at the park came out clean and almost totally dry 8O he is no taking up snooze duty under my computer desk!

I'll sort out my piccy and vid uploads probably tomorrow - to give the server a break
Great time!!!! IT WAS LOVELY TO MEET YOU ALL.... It was great to see so many sheepie and new people... from miles away! thank you all for coming!!! all the dogs got along great! just a shame about the weather.. we all had soggy dogs.. that really enjoy their day!!! Thank you to Archie!! family all the way from scotland their children had sent home make doggie treats and they had done a recipe book for us too.. which was so cute thank you!!!! We also had two baby sheepies too ooohhhhh they were so munchable!!! bless

I will post pictures later...

Thank you all!!! for a GREAT SHEEPIE DAY 2009
Was lovely to meet every one. Will put pic's on tomorrow when we get home. As staying in a hotel again tonight!!!! Had a really nice time, was lovely to meet everyone.
Tilly really enjoyed herself and has been for a shower and shampoo this evening in the hotels shower room!!!!! :)
Whens the next one then?????
It was a good journey back up north - Archie was giving big ZZZZZZZ's all the way home. He woke up with a look of where did all the sheepies go!! Tell me it wasn't just a dream!!

What a great day - definitely worth the 11 hour drive!

Lovely to meet everybody and of course the sheepies. Can't wait to do it all again next time

Photos to follow..... (Computer expert aged 13 has gone to bed)

Sue Iain & Archie
We had a great time- and so did Rufus, much to the annoyance of most of the other dogs  He was such a pain pestering them all, especially Archie who he seemed to have an obsession with (well, his butt anyway) even though they are both boys- what's that about??
The travelling time was 4 hours for us, but the journey home was a bit quicker. I'm going to work today but will upload the pics when I get home.

There were a lot of sheepies, it's a shame it rained because I wanted to chat to everyone but didn't get time. Our walk at the end was nice- the sun made a brief appearance!!!
Summer slept all last night....I am tired today dont know why... I didnt do the walk. OH cant do long walks! Next time I will bring him a paper then he can stay in the car and read...I did have a lovely day and it was so nice meeting you all. I can now take a peek in your photos and feel as if I know you . (Ron we need a huggy emoticon! ) Summer is having a hair cut this morning so I need to find some old trousers....
Karen I love Sweetpea anytime she wants a holiday send her to me, there is a photo of her with Summer, they are both little piggies sitting for treats
(I am sure it is sweetpea, I gave up trying to remember names after a while)

We had a great day too - the dogs really enjoyed it, rain or no rain they don't care. Although have to say, my tiled kitchen floor looked like an Etch-A-Sketch this morning with all the dirt and dust. You could actually see where they had plonked themselves down over night.

Ollie is still tired this morning, not much excitement for walkies, well Jack is the exception to that, any day/time is good for walkies lol

I apologise for Ollie and Jack pinching toys/balls, they are as thick as thieves those two.... hope you got them back ? :sidestep:

Will post pictures soon xx
I cant wait to see more pictures from everyone who havent put them up yet! It was such a lovely day meeting all these nice people and sheepies!!

Did anyone of our American friends realised that Charlie was wearing the "Sheepiepalooza" Bandana with pride????? :D

Let me say a big thanks to all of you who bought a wire brush from Kim at the UK sheepie day, the OES club of Scotland club's rescue received a wonderful donation which Kim had forwarded to them and believe me they are very grateful for this money.

Sometime early next year the club intends to have a rescue day and they will use this money to help buy prezzies for the dogs. If anyone wants another brush or missed out on the chance Kim still has a couple available.

Kim thanks for the effort you had with this and I am very grateful to you for offering to sell the brushes, a nice big box of marzipan will be on its way to you soon, Mmmmmm enjoy them when they arrive.

Many thanks once again.
Stewart

Here is a pic of the brush.
thank you
That brush is fantastic! Thank you to Kim/Stewart. I brushed Violet out with this brush the other night and she just layed and fell a sleep. The funny thing was I had picked up the brush and Asia walked over to me and tapped me with her paw near the brush. I said "do you want me to brush you?" and she layed down on the bed and so I brushed her and she layed so quietly and also seemed to enjoy it...off to sleep she went. Works great on both the OES and the Aussies.
