The new pet friendly Honda Element

This is probably appropriate to put in travel but, since it's kind of an every day thing, I thought I'd post it here for more visibility. Honda has come up with a pet friendly trim level of the Element. Pretty cool, I thought.

Great idea! I don't know think a mesh divider would keep Maggie in the back but I like the sound of the other features, especially dog bed and ramp. I hope the water bowl and cooling fan don't give people the idea that it is ok to leave dogs in a hot car, however.
Considering how much we travel with the dogs on the weekend, that would be awesome!!!!!!!!!! Too bad it doesn't have third row passenger seating ...we need dog and kid friendly. Love the car though!!
I think the mesh divider needs a little work. Looks like it only fastened at the corners. One nudge through the edge next to the window with a nose, and a dog could scoot through.

I like the idea however, and I still love mine, even without the added features.

For three dogs, I think the pet friendly one would be less pet friendly, lol, but, you're right, I love mine as is.
Great idea-- and we are so very greatful that you are buying Honda's... :D ( from the spouse of a Honda associate)
My dogmobile is the Odyssey. I looked at the Element and did appreciate the cleanability of it. This dogmobile model is fun, you y'all are right, that dog mesh is easily by passed
aww. thats awesome... We did check out the Element but at that time I was spoiled by my Corolla S and felt the Element didnt have "power".

As a die hard Toyota fan, I was actually surprised at myself for buying a Jeep Liberty with a sky slider. I absolutely love it - just wish the gas is a bit better though.

Very cool site!

I guess it is all a matter of perspective. I thought it has tons of power.

Of course, I was coming from a Ford Escort hatchback!
