Sham-wow don't waste your money!

So I'm a sucker for a ton of advertising and a product for a shaggy dog. But just to save someone else the $20 (we bought the Sham-wow from a local store specifically for Casey) it was unimpressive. I didn't bother trying to do any of the other things the example showed but it didn't dry Casey any faster or better then the old towels we use....so unless you are currently using paper towels to dry your dog, the sham-wow will not be an improvement.

good to know - but it is a great commercial :D :D
I agree. I have them and they aren't that good. Plus if you throw them in the wash and forget to take them out before they get into the dryer...they are ruined.
I have heard from a friend that an old pair of socks would work better. He wanted to brand them as sucky socks, they just suck up the mess you would otherwise walk by.
I have sham-wow, and I will say, I wasn't entirely impressed with it until I put it around Matisse's neck at the shows to keep the coat flat on his neck.....That's the only thing it's REALLLLY good for. Aside from that, I couldn't agree with you more.

another as seen on TV product: Pedi-paws....huge waste....huge!! Now that is a joke. Maybe for a cat, but not for big dogs.
