How do you keep these annoying things out of their hair when you are in the woods - even if you stay on a path? |
|
You can't. I'm sorry. Even my bald ones pick them up. Just lots fewer of them.
If they exist within a five mile radius, OES will find them. Some OES in particular appear to have a built in capacity to zone in on the nasties and find them no matter what you do. I've had dogs ON LEASH come back covered ![]() Sybil drags me into particularly tempting brush. So glad all the obedience training is paying off ![]() ![]() Kristine |
oh she was on leash!!!
I couldn't believe how embedded some were and she was soo good about it - even when I tugged a little too hard and may have been over zealous in combing some out. Of course I kept her up to 1 am to get them done which may have accounted for her lackadasicle performance in her agility class Sunday ![]() |
Can you spray her with a silicone based spray so she's a little slick? (I know, sounds funny but it could work. Easier to wash out Pam than pick seeds!) |

See this is what I was thinking - something must work to make them less attractive (in the sense of every seed in the area jumps to their coats!) to plant material. |
