Stay downstairs!!

Guess who learned how to climb stairs this past weekend? Yep - Baloo (2.0)!! He was all proud of himself when he climbed up the stairs all by his lonesome on Saturday afternoon. Now we can't get him to stop climbing the stairs! He's just like a baby who has figured out you can get somewhere if you just keep going up. Luckily for us, though...he has also mastered climbing down the stairs, so I don't have to run up and carry him back down! He's 16 weeks old now...I was hoping to hold him off of the stairs for a while longer. Bummer.

I love watching them stumble, slide, trip a bit down the stairs as they are learning.

Ours is STILL learning and started several months ago. lol We have a gate at the bottom and top of our stairs though, so he doesn't get a lot of practice.

I'm hoping to only let the older dog up there, and keep the new one downstairs. He can be our guard dog, and if someone makes it upstairs ...our older dog can be our protector (not that she wouldn't be peeing on the floor if she saw an intruder) ;)
That's such a cute puppy!!
:aww:

Don't you just love having a helper and such a cute one
very sweet!
He's so proud of his new talent. What a sweet sheepie. :hearts:
Very cute :D

And if you really don't want him going upstairs unsupervised, set a baby gate up. It works like a charm, prevents "accidents" up there , as well as him not getting into stuff.
How absolutely adorable....I'm guessing that's him after climbing the stairs...LOL
