Puppy Foot PADS

Tigerlily's foot pads are almost exclusively pale pink, except for one black.

What color are OESs' pads generally?

Do they go black as they age like the nose and around the eyes?

Are there special considerations for pale pads in terms of heightened sensitivitiy to extreme cold or heat?

The color of the pads are usually pink if the dog has only the saddle and maybe some coloring on the head, every sheepie I have ever owned had only pink pads. It all depends on the pigment of the dog, a pink pad will not likely turn black, but it is possible to develop black freckles.
I don't think there would be any special considerations, unless they are laying belly up in the sun for a long time outside, which is sheepie like, but even if you could put sunscreen on them it wouldn't last long.
Thanks for the info.
