Our new foster dog

We got a new foster last night - and it's an OES this time instead of a basset hound!

His name is Otis and he's 3 yrs old.
And for those who want a picture....you'll have to wait a bit. :(
I have a picture waiting approval....since lunchtime!!!
But I decided to post without it.

Sorry!!

It's approved now.... he's a cutie :)
Congrats he is a sweetie how is the Chewie Man taking it, getting on well with Otis?
He's beautiful! What is his story?
He is doing well, but is a bit shy. Still in the adjusting to a new place phase.

Here's his picture:

He's not quite ready to join in the play at our house yet. And, LeAnne, the kids and Chewie's sister Martha are here. Those that know Martha - she plays rough! He was cringing out in the dog yard as she raced and body slammed. I had to call her off and give the boy a break.

He is really good with the kids and our cat and the cockatiels.
He does look timid and oh so sweet and pretty. Do you have plans for him?
He needs some serious rehab, he does have issues.
He will be up for adoption later through MN OES Rescue.
ah he looks sad but he's a handsome fellow
Oh Dawn...he must be one of the original 9 rescued from the puppy mill. If anyone can bring him around, you guys can.
No, he's a more local dog (MN).

I really hope we can work through stuff. Todd and I both agree that he has a lot of potential.

He is going to the Paw with us to play tomorrow, and then will go to class with me as well when I'm teaching.
Normally with the basset fosters in the past, I had LeAnne here in town to work with them while I was teaching. Now that she is in the Twin Cities going to college, I will have to be more creative......
he's sooo gorgeous! :hearts: such sad eyes though..... :(
He is very cute. Hope he goes through rehab alright. :)
What a sweet little sheepie boy. Good luck with him. He'll come around..with you and Chewie he'll become a happy sheepie boy in no time.
if anyone can do it chewie my hero and u can..
What a cutie!!! Hope he settles in and I'm sure he will have a blast at your house.
He is in wonderful hands with you and your crew :D
Congrats, Dawn! I'll bet he'll blend n so well you want want to let him go. :)

This guy tugs at my heart and I'm so glad he's getting this chance.
I know he's in the best of hands.
Thank you, Dawn!!
He is sooooo cute! :hearts:
Glad he is finally in good hands!
Wow, That is one cute face! He reminds me of my Simon when his hair was longer.

Just curious, what kind of issues does he have?

Dawn, he is in the best hands possible!
He's very cute. If he has issues, I'm so happy he's in a good foster home that can help him correct them!! :cheer:
Oooooooh, Otis is gorgeous! Such a sad little face, though. Looks like he did okay in the play yard - did he? If anyone can turn him around, Dawn - it's you and your gang!
